How do you get rid of acne?

I had pretty bad acne, I went to the GP and was prescribed various creams, then various anti biotics. THe only thing that actually fixed it was getting put on this pretty extreme stuff called roacitane, it pretty much stops oil production on your face and dries your skin out. You can't drink when on it and need to get liver function tests etc so is always a GPs last resort.

Instead of asking here, go speak to the doctor!
