How do you get rid of acne?

Just gone on Doxycycline, anyone got experience with this antibiotic?

Yup. It's quite mild, but for the 6 weeks that i was on it, it worked pretty well. My skin isn't as bad as it was, so i don't tend to use the antibiotics anymore, i just read up on www.acne.org and tried a few things on there.

Go and see your GP, different treatments work for different people.

I tried every kind of cream and tablets they could offer and none of them worked. My GP finally referred me to the dermatologist who put me on Roaccutane, which worked an absolute treat with zero side affects.

Getting a decent shaving routine helps too, Scuzi can help you with that.

I find that after shaving, my acne flares up even worse. I'm using a relatively 'ok' razor with clean heads etc but I can't do anything for it.

Is it because it's possibly taking off a very slight bit of skin as it goes, dead skin perhaps? This is the only idea I can think of. I'm not pushing too hard either, letting the razer fall under it's own weight and then just applying a tiny bit of pressure...

You were lucky then lol, I was on those when I was in school, I'm now 26, and ever since I was on them, I've suffered with chapped lips, even now.

Awesome tablets like you said, Very powerful though, No alcohol or drug use while on them. ATALL.

Been using daniel kern regimen for about 18 months now. Want to stop using it, but everytime I do my face has a party and invites all its mates out to play.
