How easy do you find it to get out of bed?

After lunch? I don't drink any after work and I thought that'd do the trick, but it didn't so I assumed it was a different problem. It can still affect you that far on?

Differs from person to person, but much of what I've read mentions 2pm as a reasonable cut-off time. I just found that if I have a cup of tea in the morning and then another when I get to work. After that I don't really want or need any more.

It's different on weekends when I'll have my last at about 5pm, but generally I'm up later at the weekend.

Quite hard, but once the alarm goes off I get up straight away. I just use good old fashion willpower :)
I have to get up early to take the dog out before work. It needs doing and I look at it as though the longer I stay in bed the less exercise and company he's going to get during the day and that would be selfish.
Having said that the idle bugger is flat out when I get down stairs, and it takes him a good 5 minutes to actually stand up :D

If its cold i usually end up not getting up at all unless its a college day then i leave it 15 mins before i am meant to set off and have a s/s/s and jump out the door, weekends is usually 1am sleep in because its too cold to get up.

Hard getting up at 6am especially as it's now dark. Summer isn't so much of a problem but lately it has been tough. Oh well, it's tough at the top!

Pretty easy.
My phone is the other side of the room so i have to get out of bed to switch that off. Started putting on 2 alarms though, 7 and 7:30 depending on whether i can be bothered getting out of bed on first go

if i have to get up for something really important then ill get up as soon as the alarm rings. if its a routine thing like uni/work or whatever then i will press the snooze button until i am almost definitely late :D

I want to die on a morning, and find it especially hard to get up at the moment as I'm recovering from a broken ankle so just moving about is a bit of a chore :/

I agree with the caffeine comments though, I used to be a complete zombie on a morning until I'd had a coffee, but when I came off caffeine, I was slightly more coherent :)

If it is a workday I have no problem getting out of bed, I don't have much choice really,

I only give myself 1 hour from my alarm going off to getting in work, Just enough time for a shower, get ready, check ocuk, drive to work,

But if I have a day off I regularly lie in bed until the afternoon,

weekends is usually 1am sleep in because its too cold to get up.

Thats not what i would call a lie in :D

My ex had a habit of setting her alarm and hour early and then pressing snooze 10 times. So annoying!

Why people do that instead of actually having the extra hour sleep I can never work out!

I put my alarm clock across the other side of the room. Its loud and annoying so I have to get up in order to turn it off.

Yep, thats what I do.

I work different days each week. I find that if I'm staying at the girlfriends' and she is getting up for work and I'm not, her alarm almost always wakes and keeps me up, whether I'm still tired or not. My alarm never seems to effect her so she happilly stays asleep untill I've done half a days work. The result being that I end up getting up on the days I have to get up and the days she has to get up. This works out at almost every day and can really **** me off at times. This is why I still live in my flat:D

I find the less sleep I have the easier it is for me to wake up

For example.

Went to bed at about 12:30am. Woke up at 9:30am struggled to wake up and was knackered all day.

Went to bed at about 4am. Woke up at 9:15am got into work for 9:45am.

My body clocks all finds of FUBAR :(

I find it very hard to get to sleep in the first place and even harder to get up :o

This is why I took a night shift for my Xmas job (well, that and the extra pay is nice).

I normally find it pretty hard to wake up every morning so i have two alarms set to make sure i wake up after switching the first one off whilst asleep. But if i look at the clock and realise I'm an hour late for something i instantly get out of bed and don't feel tired or hungry. And i can get ready in about 2 minutes.

Set the second clock an hour forward so you think 'oh ****!' :p
