CS3 - Macpro 2x Quad 2.8ghz, 2gb 800mhz FBdimm, 8800GT 512mb GFX
6.1 seconds
This is 1hour after getting the machine up and running and all ive got installed and running is PSCS3, so no tweaks or cache has been touched from installed defaults.
I have been waiting for you to try this for age. I knew you would win. 6.1 is the new top!
Q6600 @ 3.1ghz, 4GB DDR933, 8800GT
I think it's mainly down to the fact that CS3 is able to use your GFX card to offload some processing time too!
What seems too low ?
Well like I said, CS3 is a few secs faster than CS2 for me and I'm on Vista SP1 with DDR2 1000 @ 933 and a fully clean maintained system![]()
Fair enough, seems odd that the guy at the top with 3.6ghz only managed 9.7secs but even mine was faster so probs something wrong with his pc.
