How is your handwriting?

since leaving education, shocking, computers reduce the need to write things down with any frequency unfortunately.

^This for everyone really.

Handwriting is a fine motor control skill, a bit like playing a musical instrument! Competence can only be maintained through constant use and practice.

Nowadays technology has largely eliminated day to day routine handwriting.

Heres a question!

How many of you use WP's/printers to compose personal letters??

(I admit that I do for a start! :( )

Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Not very neat but (hopefully) legible.

Mine is awful was at school and still is and am a southpaw. :p

Just thought on have to do mothers day cards tonight, hate writing cards for the above reason.
My daughter is 7 and her hand writing is better than mine.

With a ballpoint my handwriting is pretty much illegible, even to me. I don't know why, and probably total placebo but its far, far better with a decent fountain pen. Nothing expensive, just one that doesnt skip.

My handwriting is pristine. I've always had more superior fine motor skills than the rest of my peers. I've always been the best in class for colouring, cutting, glueing, etc. I've always been good with my fingers :p.

What I find funny is the people saying thank God for computers yet they cant even type. What's that all about?

Mine is completely unreadable if I don't concentrate on making it legible, sometimes I make notes for myself and come back after a week and can't read them.

I will guarantee that none of you are worse than some of the Clinicians handwriting I have to read every day.
I came in one day and 4 secretaries were bunched around a computer trying to translate one report and it was impossible.
