How last night effected me...

Despite great plans for "Operation defend the homestead", we only had a misguided zombie and a slightly terrifying Dracula knock at the door. Both good well behaved kids that didn't even need the tiniest bit of batting (no oun intended).

All died down by 8.30 anyway, and managed to improve the ol' overclock. Get in.

I wasn't Affected by it either ;)

Quiet in my place last night. The local schools had organised some events last Sunday and there were a few parties for the kids but no neds to speak of. :)

Mind you the parents are probably afraid of too many junkies in the area. :o

Also had a nice quiet night. Watched some Viva la Bam on DVD sat in my nice comfy chair in my bed room and watched a fireworks display in the golf course just past my back garden. I only heard one person knock at the door, and they didn't even get an answer :D

It was almost as dead as the grave here:)

We only had two groups of kids (about 5-9) call round about 6ish.

I'm stuck with a bag of mini twix's and milky ways now...

After 7pm we had 3 TorT's in about 10 minutes all under 6yrs old, then nothing.

Brian, the rabbit that lives in our hall, was very unimpressed and I have a lot of sweets left. Naff wouldn't be too harsh a word tbh.

watched a film (Princess Mononoke)

Good choice sir! Watched that the other night as well! :)

Steamboy tonight methinks!

Back on topic, I had a couple of knocks and that was it, I aimed for a few when driving to pick my mate up, but sadly missed.

Pretty quiet round my way. I did actually have a massive tub of sweets for any kids that made an effort but every time the doorbell went i was busy either bathing the bairns (2 year old and 4 month old) or i was giving the littl'un her bottle before bed.
So i didnt even get a chance to share the massive tub of sweets the missus bought to give to the trick or treaters (what a shame, i'll have to eat them hehe)

Lol :p

We all had a lovely evening here. I took the kids out trick or treating all dressed up in their devil and skeleton costumes and I was a vampire :p Cliff stayed in with the baby and wore a scream mask with fake blood that you can pump out. We saw lots of children walking about dressed up and everyone we knocked on was lovely. It was a mild evening and very enjoyable. When we got back there were still some more children knocking and it was nice to see their costumes. All of them were very polite and made an effort dressing up.

meanwhile, back in reality...

:D
