How long is your commute/Drive to work

Just under 4 miles to my office, time, well depends really but generally about 10 minutes depending on traffic

It used to be 1.5 hours door to door (walking, train and tube). Nowadays: 10 seconds as I walk into my office. I've not been to the officve in almost 2 years.

I used to commute between NE London and Stockley Park via public transport which took 1 hour 15 minutes in each direction on a good day. Driving would have taken about the same time, if I didn’t mind being on the road by 06:30, but it would have required having a second car and cost way more than TfL’s £200 pcm.

Don’t miss any part of it other than my daily Cafe Nero mocha from Paddington Station.

21 miles. Half urban, half rural roads.

Takes me 35 mins in the car. I shave a few mins off on the bike, but any time saved on the bike is cancelled out by donning/doffing my biking gear at either end of the journey.

Previously I was doing 65 miles which took two hours, including a ~20 minute ferry crossing. Thank God that's over with!

About 10 metres most of the time. I went to one of our sites every day last week, it cost £58 in fuel and 90 minutes of my time to travel the 22 miles there or back. I wouldn't want to do this every day.

About 15 miles, which takes me an hour and 10 minutes door to door. It used to be an hour but all my rush hour trains are slow as you like these days. I go to the office 3 days a week and WFH 2.

10 miles, anywhere between 30-60 mins, depending on traffic on the day. S Wales valleys route, mostly on a470.

There is a "short cut" across the mountain, but that is horrible, especially in fog.

4 miles. 10 minute drive there (4am) 20-25 minute back due to the traffic. Early start is the only reason i drive, otherwise I could travel to work & back by bus.

5.3 miles drive and 1/2 a mile walk. Although I've only done it 3 times in the past 2 years.

Part of the reason we stayed within the m60 boundary is because I despise commuting. I'd love to live somewhere less urban but I don't want to hamper my career potential and I'm not willing to spend more than an hour each way getting to and from work.

I don't foresee ever going back to an office, I value my time too much to waste it commuting.

I did do the home counties <-> London commute for a while when I was in my 20s and honestly I don't how people do it long term and stay sane.

To get into the office? approx 260 miles, and between 4 to 6 hours each way (a couple of days every six months so far)
To get to work? 20 seconds, including opening the curtains and adjusting my sit/stand desk

~4 miles ~18mins in nice and early before rush hour, ~5.5 miles ~25mins on a motor traffic quiet hillier meander home... By hybrid bike.

4 miles to the office, taking between 30 minutes and 1 hour on average, depending on Reading traffic and general drivers' stupidity.... sometimes it takes a lot longer.
However, I then can have anything up to 144 miles to drive to actual place of work, if I'm out on site.
