How many 3rd years and starting to panic...?

Yup - though, I'm a 4th year :p Due March 5th, 6000-8000 words to do. I'm still confident it'll be ok, but i can't go on avoiding my dissertation supervisor much longer...

I have always wanted to learn a bit more about how things work, like with the human mind etc. Though when I do have a search I can never really find what I am after, so any websites would be appreciated. :)

I hope you get your work completed, get cracking! :)

I wrote over 10k words in total for my GCSE English coursework... I'm not a fan of word limits. Roll on uni :p

Easy, I wrote a 3,000+ words letter on my iPhone on Saturday night in the space of 3 hours in between serving customers !

In a Panic? Don't - it will not solve anything.

Solution: Less time forum-ing about your dissertation and more time actually working on it!

;)

Ha, what a coincidence, Im on here to get away from mine...

Im due 17th March, 8000 words. Architecture. We had a 4000 hand in before Christmas, which I really enjoyed doing. However, something has happened of the festive period andn ow my head is just not in it.

Got an email from the advisor of Friday wanting to meet me tomorrow to discuss what I have done since getting my intern feedback, which is absolutely nothing.

Its all a load of codswallop.

I enjoyed mine too (architecture as well!) until I was stuck and my tutor did not help me in any way. Told me to "google it"

Pah, i did a 10,000 word essay in a week. Got a D

Still got a 2nd class over all though, thankfully..

Procrastination *** \o/

I had to do my dissertation last year and all i'll say is that it was the hardest 3 months of my uni life. When i was printing it and handing it in i had a smile on my face that i couldn't have got ridden of even if i wanted to. Best feeling ever.

Thank god im not the only one! 10k to do for the 18th march and iv got -3 words written... Been 3 fun weeks though instead of working :D (just a shame the deadline is the day after st paddys day and im in the uk on it...)

This was last year for me

But still i was so calm it was unreal, not even the type of "well i know everything and i have done all the work" type of calm.. i had done nothing, and was extremely calm

I dont panic anymore under any conditions, and i miss that extremely, for me with no pressure and stress i just dont function..

Either way i did my dissertation in 2 days (16-18 hour days) + a few hours to tiny up and print 9200 words or so... I actually decided what i would do my dissertation on the friday, wrote a plan, sat and sunday massive work and monday 4pm = hand it in, (tidy up and print on monday)

The problem was i had to invent and carry out a research project that should have taken the entire summer, i faked around 200 Questionaires and about 20 interviews, randomly made up stuff on SPSS that backed what i was saying..

The one thing i would like other peoples opinions on is this... would you prefer to make up your own topic or have someone tell you "do a dissertation on ????"... For me thinking what im going to do it on is several thousand factors harder than anything else.

I got a 2:2 for it, but tbh i would have failed myself if i was marking it so thats something
