How many bones have you broken and how?

Broke my right arm twice

Jumped off a massive wall when i was young, it all went to pot

Also fell into to some huge ditch and landed funny on my arm, ended up with a nice bone poking out

Broke my skull twice

First was a car crash, a nice 4 inch scar

And another when i fell over and dived onto a brick

yeaaa

good times

Broke 4 bones in the middle of my left foot. Just happened to have a foot meets floor at 30mph while im still sat on the bike. :o

3 months in a cast,a foot that looks different from the right one and a foot that gets really sore adn clicks a lot later and i can get on with life.

Lower right shin doing karate
A couple of right toes doing karate
My middle right knuckle doing karate
When I ripped my right knee cartlidge and had it removed I gave karate up :)

Right Femur - Mountain bike mishap, still have the pin thingy they used to stick it back together.

Left Shoulder Blade - Same Mountain Bike mishap, nice scar.

L1, Compression fracture - Same mishap, hurt like nothing else, very lucky.

Rib - Different bicycle mishap, wasn't too bad.

Tripped over a pot hole at work last week, sat here in plaster right now :( broken radius of left arm, had a stainless sleel plate fitted. Find out later this morning if I need bone graft, wish me luck!

My thumb was broken in PE. My wrist was broken when I fell while skiing. I didn't know it was broken for three days, and I carried on skiing. Sadly someone sat on the broken arm during this time which hurt a lot.

Fractured toe,

Dropped a bottle of Bud Ice onto it one New Years Eve before we went out, was hurting but the alcohol masked the pain until the next day. Took about 3 months before it wasn't sore to the touch.

And I fractured the bone in my hand right before the pinky (referred to frequently as boxer's bone)....I was about 15 and got angry at my friend and punched him in the head...obviously did it wrong.

lol, I did exactly the same at pretty much the same age. Although it was my left hand :D

Also broken various fingers and toes plus I broke my collarbone when I fell out a top bunk as a little 'un. Don't remember it at all though.

Despite causing serious damage to just about every part of my body at one point or another, the only times I've ever broken or fractured anything were all to do with my toes. Three occasions, twice playing rugby and once slipping in the kitchen and slamming my foot off a door-frame (the last was the worst by a long shot!).

Even now, with the last one being about 8 years ago, every now and then I find myself in agony until I sit down for an hour or two.

Blimey, good luck fella :(

Broken leg, skiing, but one ski ended up facing the wrong way, and it never came off like its ment to!! Luckly passed out on the way to hospital as it was quite a drive from the slops to the hosp.

Also not really broken, but chipped the bone where the eye brow is when ice-skatting (those silly jaggy bit on the front of hire skates!) had a lump of bone floating about for ages, seems to have disolved now (took about 5years maby more to disolve)

also a few fingers, thumbs toes etc, why dont they make them stronger!!??

Finger - Can't remember how this one happened, woke up after a night out with a comedy size swollen finger. Problem was the break was on a growth plate, should have had it operated on but seemed stupid at the time.

Rib - Play fighting.

Fractured coccyx (tailbone) - Knee'd up the arse at a gig. ouch.

2:

Broke the knuckle on the second finger on my right hand by punching my brother on the side of the head in a fight. He moved to get out of the way and my hand hit him at a funny angle. Unfortunately it's never been right since. The entire finger got pushed "back" into the hand and now it's only a fraction longer than the third finger when there should really be more of a difference between them :(

Had my nose broken at school. Was standing talking to a mate when someone on the football pitch kicked a long high shot. A guy was running backwards to try and head the ball as it came down. He couldn't see me and I couldn't see him cause we were facing different directions. The mate I was talking to only just warned me in time for me to turn slightly before being knocked face first to the ground by the guy running into me. The ground was of course concrete and splat goes my nose. Shame no-one acutally realised it was broken as it's healed slightly squint....(Which is why you'll never see a pic of me online!)

Had a serious wrist break when I was 15, lost roughly half a cm off my arm length and have 2 ceramic pins in there :(

A plethora of other injuries, some quite serious, but fortunately no breaks, touch wood (/taps head)

Nose - quite a few times whilst boxing.

Arm - Fell of a wall.

Foot - Dropped a 20kg weight on it.

Toe - ditto.

Lost finger whilst playing Rugby.. Sewn on nicely :)

Nose - 1 more time and i'm in double figures!

All done playing rugby, must remember not to lead through with my head!

Worst one was from the opposing number 9 in a scrum (Rugby League) who cracked me a good one (he only bound one arm instead of both!) whilst my arms were both still bound. He managed to spread it so far across my face i could hardly see out of one eye! Nice!
