Brilliant aint they, last modern supercar with hydraulic steering that is amazing in feel, no other modern supercar or sports car comes close and savage power delivery and great sound track with those top mounted exhaust.

Go drive a McLaren Artura also equally brilliant, considered swapping 600 LT for one, but fact is the LT is far more an event to drive and holding value now, Artura's still have some crashing to do but in my view are the best drivers supercar currently for sale by a long shot with a great warranty package.

I never got why supercar makers switched to electronic steering. Surely the whole point in the car is how it feels and hydraulic (or totally analogue) is clearly so much better. Lotus and Gordon Murray understand it.

yes I couldn't agree more, I have been fortunate to drive a few nice things and the steering feel and feedback on the 600LT is incredible, there is plenty of grip but even when it starts to move it tells you - inspires confidence, I can see why you went to Isle of Man.

There was an Artura in the showroom and I suspect it would be an amazing car but for some reason it didn't quite click - the 600 has been a dream car for me since it launched

It is odd, hydraulic definitely feels better, or no assistance if you can get away with it - the Atom's steering is probably the best I've ever driven, quite a quick rack but because there is no weight or assistance its easy to feel/catch it when required
