It's easier to type properly then it is to use 2 or 3 fingers, so I don't understand why people wouldn't take the time to learn proper touch typing?
Honestly, I'm not the fastest but I can't imagine how awkward it must be to use 2 or three fingers to cover the entire keyboard.
I can easily type at 250wpm
I'd like to see a video of that!

Argh why are you people talking about touch typing.
Thats just knowing where the keys are without looking, which you could do with 1 finger if you wanted.
I'm asking how many fingers you can type with, what does touch typing have to do with anything.
No more talk about touch typing thanks.
Two, just my index fingers. Apart from shift for which I use my little finger. Can still type faster than most people I know.
Would be interesting for people to also post their WPM. On www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php I got 84 and 0 mistakes on the first go.
Just two
At a mighty, 60 wpm!

who the heck uses thumbs for typing?

who the heck uses thumbs for typing?

Like right pinky for enter, or left pinky for caps lock, either thumb for spacebar. I'm also one of those people who toggles on and off caps lock to type capitals, instead of using shift; bad habit but I manage.![]()
