I touch type, have done since I was about 9-10 so nearly 20 years. Although I would say I've slowed considerably recently, practice really is required to maintain any reasonable WPM:accuracy. My niece having just started infants apparently has been introduced to touch typing. So it seems to be something only people who are nearly dead find impressive
I'd say all 10, although I don't use the thumb on my left as much hand much, as I usually type space with my right thumb, and I use my pinky for Windows Key as I usually use it with other shortcuts.
Touch type on most keyboards and tablets but on a mobile its back to the thumbs as its the quickest way. Thumbs admittedly, when touch typing, only get used for the spacebar and pinkies for shift/ctrl keys
All 3 center fingers on both hands + thumb on left hand (for space) + little fingers for shift. It annoys me when i watch someone typing with one finger on each hand
So the only finger i don't really use for typing is the thumb on my right hand.
Poor you! My stepdad does it, it annoys me, so any time I'm home and he needs help doing something, I usually do the typing, as watching him just infuriates me lol.
Ok, so I've discovered, that in fact I use most of my fingers, but don't use my left thumb (right thumb spacebars). I use right pinky for right shift, and left pinky occasionally when I need ctrl.
