How many games you have installed and what are they?

Totally retarded to install so many games at once IMO. I only install games I am playing. No point having games installed if you never play them.

You must have some sort of OCD to want everything installed at once. You're crazy. lol

There's no downside to having them installed if I've got tons of space free, and it's not like I've sat there installing them manually, just clicked go on Steam and let it sort itself out. ;) Hardly retarded.

If I don't have games installed I'm never going to play them, and I get just as much enjoyment playing older titles, as playing very modern ones (if not more in a lot of cases).

But why not have it, when I can.....

Exactly. ;)

Rubbish, I always come back to games I haven't played for a while, and I hate installing games with a passion ( which is why I like steam so much :)), much much easier and less of a waste of time to just keep them installed for the next time I fancy playing them, be that in a few weeks or in a year or two...

Well if you're going to include disks and console games, rather than just stuff you've got installed... :p ;)

I'm a horder as it were, and it's less conspicuous to the ladies this way! :p
That is very nice wish i had mine like that:)

how do you get your games list to display like this?

nah its not built into games explorer unfortunately, that would have made it useful!

Its just a folder full of shortcuts, got the icons from this bloke on deviantart http://jeno-cyber.deviantart.com/ (had to convert the png into .ico using this site http://converticon.com/)

then use this program http://www.alastria.com/index.php?p=software-7s to create an exe that you can then pin to taskbar

if you have any problems let me know, i can try and help, the icons are in 28 packs, about 1000 altogether, if you cant be bothered to download them all, give me a shout, i can send just the ones you need, as long as its not as many as the op!

Been looking for decent game icons to use with Object dock, thanks for sharing these, quite a collection of icons there, only 6 duplicates in all! :p

I currently have 4 games installed. I used to have lots installed, but realised I wasn't playing the vast majority of them, so I uninstalled most of them.

Borderlands: got on Friday, played about 20 mins.
Dead Space: haven't played in months, got about 2 hours in
Fallout 3: 28 hours of playtime, finished once, got 'The Spit' and Anchorage to play
Unreal Tournament 3: online scene seems to be dying and I can't play at a decent level without getting my mouse fixed but it's still fun and amazing value for money.

I'll be picking up Left for Dead 2 soon.

I don't have many games installed, only have 640gb of HDD space and a lot of that is music + films, plus don't seem to have much interest for games these days, been dying for a decent multiplayer game to get lots of hours on, last was CSS.

Refreshing to see so many actually buy PC games!!!

I just counted and I have 261 retail boxed games spanning 1992 to present (all bought on release date as well). Way too many to photograph it would take hours ;) Only have a few recent games installed nowadays as its too time consuming & waste of HD space to keep them all on the PC.

How the trends change as well most of the PC games released 1992-1998 cost £44.99 each (some multi cd FMV heavy titles were £50 and 7th guest was £69.99!) then 1999-2002 PC games dropped to £29.99-34.99 and still retained the large boxes but 2002 to now has mostly been the slimcase DVD design and recently @ retail PC is seriously in danger of becoming extinct as here in West London few shops stock PC games anymore so its either a trip up the west end or pre-order online. Back in the day you could walk into the main music/games/dvd retailers in the west end and the PC was massive taking up a lot of floor space vs now its a few rows if your lucky

Those are all the games I ever bought...I like having them all installed and ready. All patched to latest versions and modded if necesarry (like Planescape Torment). One of the perks of PC gaming : ).Currently I am playing Torchlight like crazy and Dead Space as well.

Oh and btw, 60 are from steam, 70 from GOG, about twenty from GamersGate, D2D and Impulse, and the rest is retail, either czech eshops or UK ones.

How do you get dos games running in vista64:confused:

EASY! I run on WinXP SP3 32bit nLited ! Hahahaha. I know that if I will switch to Vista/7, I will get problems with some of them, and since my PC is currently superquick and does everything I want it to, there is no reason to change.I use software, not OS.

BTW if that nice visual style fooled you, it is called Luna Element 5.

To be honest I could not care less if there are any PC games in stores, as long as I can order them online. All 312 games I currently own (as pictured) were bought either online, or via digital distribution. Why go out when you do not have to and can get it cheaper to boot? : )
