Well I should be asleep now, don't start work till 10... but like to be up at least an hour before leaving to go.

I used to be able to go 4/5 hours and that would be enough, but since breaking my knee and becoming very unfit I've found that I need 7/8 hours on general, odd occasion less but not so often now. Used to start work at half 7 on a Saturday morning finish at half 12, go home have a quick lunch, go to basketball then either play or travel away and play, come home have a shower and some lunch then be out with my mates on ~5 hours sleep. While I was at Bangor I used to get up at 6 every morning, go for a run at half past... bed by 12 at the latest unless I was out but I'd still wake up at 6 to go out. Can't do it any more it kills me. :(

On 12hr nights, I get approx 5hrs and when on days about 7hrs.
Sometimes shorter when on days as it depends on when Boy Wonder decides he wants to wake up (loves 5:30am rolls in his cot)

Usually about 7 hours. Think i need more, it catches up with me near the end of the week.

I make up for it while offshore though making a whopping 8 - 10 hours in between shifts.

Met a guy out here that sleeps for a couple hours, gets up for a couple for the gym then sleeps for a few more then goes back to work.....weird

3/4

Another hour or two would be nice, but i can live with it. I was one of those kids that got up from an early age at the crack of dawn to do the paper round, 5/6 in the mornings allways been the norm.
