How many miles do you get for approx £50

About 620 miles from my 150bhp Vectra SRi, and that's with the boot and back seat fully loaded with spare parts and tools for my job.

OK, it's a diesel (1.9 CDTi), but it's quicker than my previous car, a Mondeo 2 litre petrol.

About 150 miles :(

Heh, still got you beat on that with the Olds :)

Just checked up on the fuel mileage for the last tank - £60 took her 135miles, all of them slow town driving or country roads aside from a 10mile dual carriageway run....and I wasn't exactly in 'economy cruise mode' for that stretch of DC.....

***edit***

Oh, and the cost to actually fill the tank? Tank is ~83 litres (22 US gallons). The petrol station I usually go to (Belvedere Shell in Burton) was charging 92.9p/litre last time I went there (with the Fiat, thank God!). "Expensive" doesn't do it justice.....If I start using her regularly I'm getting a conversion to LPG done.

Thats pretty crap for a new diesel in all fairness. My 150k 306 xrdt beats that :/

Not for a 180bhp Diesel its not!

Plus the car weighs +/-1600kgs. By well over, I mean 680-690 ish

(shoudl have said, just under!) lol

Toyota Supra approx 275 miles if i am really light on the gas.
Ford Mondeo LX approx 450 miles.

Can I just make you all absolutely sick now???? :D

My big old stonkin' truck will go 335 miles on 50 quid.... :p

The Neon will go 1007

You mean 0 as you wont be able to use pounds. :p

Sure I will.

Go to bank, deposit quid. Go to pump, use Visa check card to fill up!! :D

Mind you, the only way I could GET any "british pounds" is to have someone send me a paypal, which will automatically be converted to USD in the process. ;)
