How many others do you live with?

I used to live in a house with 6 other people, was a nightmare - they were all nice individuals but at least once a week you would hear one of them having sex - theres only so much of that you can take really!

Now I live with my girlfriend and am happiest when shes not there ;)

Sounds good op,

It's a great way to get a social life if you moved out solo.

Unfortunately me moving out solo has ended up with zero social life and i'm pretty unhappy tbh.

It'd be cool to have people to just go out with.

Where do you work / how old are you?

Probably going to sound weird, but here goes!
I live in a large 4 bed detached house with my partner, my 2 year old daughter... and my best friend too. :p
A little odd, but it allows us to have a bigger house with an in-house office for my business.

Personally I've moved from 1 househsare to another after moving out fo mum and dad's.

Now about to move into another aswell.

I'd love my own home, but as Acme said, I hate being on my own - I find it difficult and normally end up just sitting in, playing online games talking to the guys on there and ordering copius ammounts of junk food.

When I do finally get my own place the first thing I am doing is looking for someone to share it with - purely from the cost perspective of being able to live some were etc.

Though Its a while off I think possiably - The need to spend more money on a new Graphics card, and online gaming etc

Been living on my own for 3 years since moving out my mums. Yes, it can get lonely at times but luckily I have enough friends I see regularly and have a good social life. So I leave my house if I get lonely.

Having the latest game consoles, 60inch wall mounted TV and gaming PC's. Is one of the pros of living on my own :)

It was said in jest. I wasn't aware you suffer with depression. :)

Fair enough, I havent encountered you all too often on these boards, so I didn't know if you were joking or being an a/hole. :p

Clearly several people thought it was the latter, so sarcastic smileys may have been required. :D

I pop in to GD only now and again. More of a Motors man myself.

Perhaps if you'd put your comment in it's proper context, I wouldn't have replied in a way which was simply meant to poke fun?

Depression can be severely debilitating. I know that. My younger brother struggled with undiagnosed depression for years and ended up taking his own life so I'm better placed than most to empathise. :)

Anyway, handshakes all round. :)
