How much do you drink?

I know I drink too much but I have grown up in a mentality of drinking.

My pal passed a stone by 21 IIRC, my cousin was an alchy by 15.

I have drunk since I was 15. I drink less than I did in my youth but it's still over the recomended amount. I exercise a lot. 6 days a week at least. Eat healthy, but still drink 26 - 30 units a week.

It's seen as normal where I live / work. But it still isn't right.

Are we in a society where how much you can drink makes you more of a man / ladette?

I dont drink regularly and fall under the category of "binge drinker" that is, to go OTT every now and then and not on a regular basis. I would say that I probably go crazy once a month but besides that I genuinely tend not to drink otherwise.

I drink too much sometimes when I go out, and I do tend to have a few whiskeys when I'm at home, especially if I'm on my own. I just relax and have a few of a night. The only thing that bothers me about my drinking is when I go overboard when I'm out, it's just silly on the odd occasion how much I put away and it never leads to good things.

I rarely drink unless I am on a night out, and even then I rarely get totally wasted. I like a nice refreshing beer during a hot day though. I think I might have one now.......

Same here. I don't have the ability that some people have to say / think, "I've had enough". I just keep drinking until someone tells me it's time to go home!

I do probably drink more than the government's idea of 'a responsible drinker' has over a week, but It's not a problem at all as far as I'm concerned.

I don't drink, I don't enjoy it tbh. That is both the taste and the effects, if I wanted to get a headache and loose balance, I could spin around on an office chair...completely free! When i'm older I may start to appreciate it more, would never be alchoholic though.

I've had one can of lager since the 27th of May (remember the date as it was a big festival/night out). And I didn't really want that.

I sometimes go a long time without drinking. And then I've been known to have quite a bit, but this time I'm really not feeling drink much. The fact it saves you money, sometimes embarrassment, and gives you a sense of calm control tends to do it for me. That, and probably listening to a fair bit of sXe hardcore, but shhhh :p.

edit: the tag "better than you" because you're straight-edge is, to be frank, hilarious.

When I'm away on a work trip as I am now (and the germans do good beer) then I will have a beer or two max every evening.

However back in the UK, I'll have a beer or two on friday evening, and maybe a couple of drinks during the weekend with friends.

I used to have a glass of wine with my dinner every night - but I don't really drink that much anymore.

Actually up until 1 week ago I hadn't drunk since the London meet. Just because I didn't feel like.
