How much do you drink?

I don't drink any more, haven't had a drop since the one glass of Champagne on Christmas day. The funny thing is I work in pub as a barman, I like the smell of certain liquors though :p

Neil.

as everyone else has probably suggested, you really need to cut down.. your body will get to a point where it cant take it anymore- and the LEAST youll end up with is the most enormous beeer belly, no matter how much exercise you do.

i did go through a drinking stage.. but unless its pimms or th occasional baileys, it really doesnt interest me any more. ive gone off alcohol before its even legal for me to drink it!

I'm 17. I've never had a pint or glass of alchohol although it is open to me as various people do offer it to me.
When I turn 18 I don't plan on drinking either. I don't smoke and would like to live my life that way! :)

Although, I go the pub Friday's with some mates and I get the juice, pint of Coke etc.

I have drunk since I was 15. I drink less than I did in my youth but it's still over the recomended amount. I exercise a lot. 6 days a week at least. Eat healthy, but still drink 26 - 30 units a week.

?

You aint doing your body much good in the long run.

I personally dont drink and i dont see the need to.

i drink too much. i rarely get drunk or binge drink, but i quite often sink 4 cans of premuim lager (>5%) or strong cider (7%) in a night 4 to 5 times a week. i know it's not good for me... :( :p

Prob share three to four bottles of wine with the missus in a week. Maybe a cold tinny everynow and then.

Sometimes drink to excess at special occasions but I prefer to drive now as I really cant stand the hassle of waiting with a load of **** heads for a taxi. Rather just get in the car and go home

I very rarely drink. I've had a few binges in the past, but believe it or not I have never come across a beer, wine, spirit or alcohol type drink which i lkie the taste of! im must be weird!

No idea in units.
Probably 250ml vodka + coke a night if I'm honest.
I'm pretty certain I'm bordering on dependency - by about 15:00 I'm going out of my mind at work without a drink.
tbh I just hate my job and use alcohol as a way to forget it at night.
Not healthy but hopefully I'll sort it eventually.

At uni I drink about 3 times a week, each about 9 pints. Now that I am at home with a broken wrist I am saying odd the stuff for 3 months...should be interesting

I drink exactly.... 0.

Literally, I have never been drunk, and never even had the slight desire to. I find that beer/larger is disgusting... and I dont really like wine that much (red wine is JUST about drinkable). I hate spirits such as Vodka too.

In terms of alcohol, I drink next to nothing. I doubt my average annual intake would get me drunk, if consumed in an hour.

In terms of non-alcoholic drinks, I drink a lot of water, a fair bit of fruit juice and the occasional glass of milk.

Usually just a couple of drinks a day at most. Not really somebody who seeks to get arseholed, just have it come via natural flow and circumstance.

In this weather though, drinking much much more.

I don't drink. I've never even wanted to try it. I can have just as good a time as my friends on a night out, the only difference being I can get up felling reasonably good in the morning with enough money to get the bus whereas my friends wake up feeling like they're about to die and can't afford a bus journey as they've spent all their money drinking.

Are we in a society where how much you can drink makes you more of a man / ladette?

Yeah, some people will say it in all seriousness as if it was an important factor in what makes a man. I've said it a couple of times to mates in the past as a joke but now I don't even bother to say it, there is no point in comparing alcohol capacities especially as it seems to me to be mainly genetic.

As for how much alcohol I drink, in Canada I've barely had more than 2 pints at any one time even on 'nights out' but back home I'd probably be drinking 4 nights a week if not more which ranges anywhere from 2 pints upwards. I might be able to work out the average but there really is no point, I'd count as a binge drinker in terms of Governmental guidelines but I've never caused any trouble so until and unless I do I don't see it as a major issue.

Far too much, possibly up to 50 a week. Not good by any means, but that's student life for you. I'm having a lot of fun, and I'm not dependant on alcohol. I love the taste of beer too. I should give up for a little while, but summer is here and drinking is a very pleasant experience with the hot weather.

i would consider myself a binge drinker... i have never worked out the whole "refreshing pint at the end of the day thing"

ok so i dont drink beer which could be a factor there but still 1 drink cant take the edge of anything, so it must be taste... but then why does it have to be an alcoholic drink?

when i drink its because im looking to have a great time and be very very drunk, if im not planning on doing that i might as well have a coke instead
