How much do you pay for insurance?

I just renewed and it occurred to me while I was on the phone that I don't really know what other bikers pay. I have a good idea because I used gocompare, but it'd be interesting to hear what you guys pay.

So this year mine was £267 comprehensive. It includes carrying a pillion, leather/helmet cover, flexi ride (ride other peoples bikes) and legal expenses.

It would probably be helpful if you included:

  • Your age
  • How many years riding
  • Bike make
  • Type of cover

(just to stop confusion - i.e. why did X only pay £50 and I have to pay £500)

My renewal is up soon, so will go off current best I can find.

1 year (0 ncb)
Husqvarna 701 SM
Fully Comp
£1100 :(

(parked in secure compound, datatagged, tracker)

I have got a full loss of a 4k 125cc on there, but even without it, it barely removes any from the premium.
