How much do you save a month ?

Nothing at the moment or the next couple of years, the only money we put aside is purely for holidays.

Wife is at Uni, just started her second year of three. We either have no holidays or save some money. Travelling is one of our favourite things to do so I'd rather we go a couple of years without saving anything and carry on having nice holidays and breaks away. Once she finishes and gets a job we can start to save as much as possible with 2 full time wages.

I usually try and put at least £2,000 into our savings account, plus I have my pension which is about £600 a month (maximum that work will also pay into). oh, and whilst not technically my savings, we also pay into two trust funds for the kids. The wife is a good saver as well which helps.

About £150, after all bills and money into saving it leaves me with £250 for beers. Before I had a house it was more like £600.

Never seems to get very high as it gets spent on Christmas, the car and holidays.
