LOL - practically on their knees begging me to stay WTF, I've watched everything I'm interested in though now and nothing new for awhile, sadly between some of the price changes and silly things like ad tiers and so on I've been forced from a lazy position of just keeping subscriptions running on multiple streaming sites to going to the efforts of subscribing and unsubscribing just to watch content at specific times :(

Gonna have to change my vote as the D+ price goes from 89.90 to 119.90 euros next month.

At 10 euros a month it's still better value than Apple TV+ but it's a steep jump in price :(

Cancelled Netflix last month. Saved 17.99 a month, but replaced with YouTube premium for 11.99.

Next month the price of Netflix is increasing to 19.99 in Spain! They say their users are watching 2 hours per day on average in their latest earnings.

I was probably watching less than 10 hours a month when I cancelled.

19.99!!!!

Just netflix for me now but ill cancel that this month. Most of the time I fancy watching something I dont fancy anything on there. Leaning more towards the rum side of things these days

15.99.
Basically whatever the standard package is.

My TV is ancient (because it won't die!) and thus 1080p

If Netflix keep putting out stuff like arcane I'll keep paying...to a point.

It isn’t against the law to upgrade your TV before the old ones kicked the bucket you know. There’s quite a lot you’re missing that will enhance your viewing experience, like UHD, HDR, better upscaling of SD and HD.

Alas. I have gotten into the mindset that "upgrading" isn't worth the money

A new oled (or whatever is best to buy now) is probably 1000 give or take.
Its not like I'm getting something I didn't have. I'm getting something a bit better.
I just can't justify 1k figures on stuff like that any more.

Prime and Nowtv continuously through the year, so 20 quid a month give or take, and then I'll pick up paramount/discovery+/mgm/d+ when I find a 'here's 3 months at 99p a month on us' type offer.

Had one for D+ 6 odd months back and binged Mr In-between, Shogun and The Bear. Hoping something for paramount pops up soon as i want to watch s2 of Tulsa King :)

How big is the 1080p TV?

That's hard to break down when on virgin/sky if you have an all in one deal with broadband/phone/TV. The TV part is probably roughly £60 worth? We watch all live sports a lot. It's our main viewing tbh so hence the price premium.
Then we have netflix, Disney and prime. I only pay full price for prime but the advert one I mean. So full UK price with ads.

Its a 46in old Panasonic plasma
A 55 inch OLED is going to be a huge upgrade over that and probably about £800 in black Friday! For movies and TV and F1 it's a no brainer. If you have an Xbox or PS5 it will also be a night and day difference.

Anyway.... Back on topic.
