How much does your Commute cost you?

I rarely drive. Normally only if I'm carrying something hefty. It's only a mile, so pittance.

I tend to ride my bike in the summer, and walk in the winter.

0p. I walk to school, takes 30 mins.

50p if I feel like a chocolate bar for some energy on the way back.

at the moment it costs me nothing as i walk to work.

from november i'm moving and will have to commute 100 miles a day, guess that's the price to pay for being close to friends and family and away from notthingham's youth.

nothing , I cycle to work

unless you count the cost of my bike which was around £400 + about £100 in maintenance over 4 yrs

£10 per week for bus ticket, and if i need to get taxi as finish work at 8, and no bus for 3/4hour it's £5.50, luckly it's twice a week max
so around £90 month max

Hard to tell really because depending on the day I travel by a mix of foot, bus, train, taxi, and my fiancee's car. The latter being fairly expensive as it involves a double round trip each day.

I'd guess it's probably around £100-120 a month

For work and Uni I need to travel into the city centre 5 days a week. This is a round trip of 10 miles, at 20mpg. So 200 miles a month, £50 a month in petrol.

Working for One of the biggest public transport operators in the UK I get free travel :) so my commute costs me nothing!

It costs me the energy of a peanut to get me to work.

I live a 70 second walk away for the part-time job and down the stairs into the study for my full-time job.

Makes me wonder why I really still have a car. Costs me more in tax & insurance than it does in petrol.
