How much hard drive space do you have?

2x Raptor X's (sometimes in Raid so 300GB)

1x WD MY Book ESATA 500GB

Various SATA150 and EIDE HDD's (not in PC) if I really need to connect to PC and drag files over.

All Media is backed up also to DVD-5' and DVD-9's for keeps.

Having had one or more HTPCs for quite some time a lot of space is taken up by recorded video files, (and the server has just been upgraded so it's mostly empty at the moment)

500gb downloads and games
200gb main windows drive/programs and pictures etc
120gb back up drive - every month use this to back up critical files/family pictures etc.

120gb on laptop (new asus laptop sitting at home waiting for me:(:()

12*500GB 7200.10 in raid6 for data storage

and these arent plugged into my pc atm because my case isnt big enough:

and to think I started life with a ZX81, with 17.5k(1.5k internal + 16k rampack) of memory and a tape drive for back up, wow how computers have moved on since 1981...... and how old I've got.

Unfortionatly that dream will never come true, some people on this forum seem to have racked up around 3/4TB of data already in a home! I don't know how or why BUT as technology moves on the need for more storage is needed so you will always have to worry about storage space. In business this is one factor thats very important.
