Without wanting to sound pedantic, surely Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland should be seperate countries?
No, your country is called United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Whether it is constituted of Federal States, of Nations, or something else is irrelevant.
And at the same time, surely something like Corfu is a seperate entity as well and not part of Greece?

Rubbish. Kerkyra is just another municipality in Greece, just like Giannena, Athens, Nafplion or Kavala. Greece is actually a centralised state, bit like France. There are no "separate" half-included entities, apart from Mount Athos.

I'm only saying because my world chart looks pitiful otherwise :)

Travel more :p

Lived in Barbados, Papua New Guinea, Jordan and currently live in the UK. Visited most of the countries around them. Loads of them you can hardly see because they're in the Caribbean. :)
