My money is on they're not coming. The cut down GM200 will be under a different naming scheme. GTX900 series is a quick money grab from Nvidia because they knew AMD wern't ready to compete.

Happy to be proved wrong though :)

But how many will be willing to pay out the extra hard cash for the 8GB version over the 4GB version...;)

I think this poll needs some kind of prices as well..
As most people is going vote for a high amount if the 2GB, 4GB and 8GB Gpu is the same price..

the poll is fine, it says "want", not "do you intend to purchase" which is an entirely different question

it could, but its not the way I read it
I thought it was intended to be more along the lines of "ignoring what nvidia/AMD are actually doing, that we know of, what would you want"

I have 6GB now, I would want more than that on my next card(s)

I read it as your next purchase, that being how much would you want anything less and you won't buy. a lot of people seem to want 4-8gb what's not unreasonable based on latest rumours.

Greg, can you help us out?
 
I definitely won't be buying any more 3GB cards, at the right price I still might say yes to 4GB cards. If it was going to be really expensive then 6+

8/12GB seems totally bonkers unless you plan to get at least 2 cards, which I probably do :D.

Pretty much "want on your next purchase" is how I intended it. For reference, I voted for 6GB, purely on the basis of what I feel I will need over the next year or so. If it comes with more, a bonus but if it comes with less, meh! But I would want 6GB ideally as a minimum.

I tried to keep it simple :D
