How OCD are you over the condition of "your stuff"

Completely depends what it is. My house is like a collection of sheds stuffed full of all sorts of ***** junk. :p
My car is a jalopy that does what it's s'posed to & I wouldn't notice any knocks or owt, Ashtray is Always full as I don't chuck my butts out the window, Car is also a bit of a litter bin as I won't chuck my rubbish out either till I find a decent bin I can access without getting out the motor. :D It starts & gets me where I have to go but only if I can't use my bike.
My Bike & previous bikes though I'm all OCD & continually Tweak, adjust, clean & polish then & coat them with FS365, I even sit staring at them/it.
Same with my PS3/Wheel/games etc they are Mint, Game discs are kept in a Pod & the cases are only opened twice, Once to get the disc out & go in the pod & once out the pod to sell/trade on.

Weird which things I am OCD about & what I don't give two ***** about.

I have got a weird thing about blu-rays. Everything else in my house can be topsy turvy as anything, but if someone puts my blu's in anything but alphabetical order, I fly into a fit of rage.

I am terrible with them. All cases have to be stripped of any stickers. Also, I will not mix blu cases. The slimline cases do not go in with the normal cases. I have 4 alphabetical sections.

Regular blu's
Slimline blu's
Box Sets
PS3 games

Maybe I'm a bit too obsessive with it, but I can't help it.

If I showed you my Uni room, considering I'm suppose to be a messy teen, you'll be in shock.

:D

I used to show a fair bit of OCD tendancies. Everything had its place, everything in alphabetical order and I liked things in even numbers (Volume of tv, fruit in fruitbowl, dvds, cds, etc).

Now I'm not so fussed. I like putting things in alphabetical order but my bf never puts stuff back where he got it from so it gets muddled up too quickly. I try to keep my stuff in good condition. Especially books, I don't loan any out and I even get annoyed when my bf reads them as he breaks the spine.

Most def do! CD's, DVD's & game disks are all in "like new" condition. My car is another one. Get the right hump if somone scratches or dinks it.

I buy new :|...

I'm not OCD about keeping things pristine (after a period) for example im careful with my phone, but mainly not to loose it, ill chuck it at my bed no problem.

I think if minecraft is an indicator though i have serious OCD (must.... be... SYMMETRICAL!)

Very. Everything I buy is kept in pristine condition. I hate lending stuff out... unless I know they are equally ocd about those kinds of things.

I look after my stuff generally, but a scratched DVD box wouldn't bother me. However any scratches/marks on my PC case/monitor would drive me mad!

My PC desk is the most cleaned part of my flat :p

I used to have mega OCD when i came to stuff i owned especially DVD games Model cars etc etc

But since having kids, ive had that habbit kicked out of me whether i like it or not

This +1, my lian li was prestine. untill the tod's got a screw driver and engraved a picture on the case for me :(

Everything has to be working and look good. I can make a massive mess that's fine so long as nothing is scratched etc. Of course I prefer order but sometimes the effort required cannot be summoned.

But for DVD cases etc... I REALLY hate damaged cases. It ruins the perfect archive look.

Anyone else see this show about OCD?

It actually showed up elements of OCD that I didn't particularly think were OCD but struck several chords with me, like worrying about making mistakes at work and rechecking things. Interesting show, but I can count myself fortunate that I am nowhere near like the people featured in the programme. He's totally right about spreading butter evenly in the tub though!

I don't have DVD's!!!
I absolutely hate when people use my things and then tell me, it doesn't work. I go over and realise the dumb*** broke it...

Not me, I've got some borderline OCDs but keeping my stuff untarnished isn't one of them. I have smashed cd cases, dust all over my PC, dirt on my house (windows haven't been cleaned in nearly 4 years), creased/scuffed clothing etc.

For me, the hassle/worry of maintaining everything in pristine condition is more costly to me than any damage that may result.

Not strictly relevant but it does really annoy me when phone handsets aren't put back on their cradles, my wife is terrible for that.

I think I've got mild (if there is such a thing) OCD, probably not as a bad as some do as I know some people can really suffer with it.

I have to do things like volume in even numbers, when I put papers down or something they have to be straight. Stuff has to back where it came from, my brother always leaves the cordless phones lying around the house, drives me crazy. Numerous small things like that.

With my phone, and stuff like that, I do take good care of them and I always run dead pixel checks on screens, with several coloured images, like red, green, blue, black etc. I think that's more being fussy with things though, I like stuff to perfect or as close to.

Not at all, except my frying pans where they will only be used with non metal utensils and stacked with cardboard. Even then the outsides are stained. Phone, tablet, computer all looked well used. They are there to be used and in life they get scratched. Phone/tablet come to work orwhever, so they're pretty scratched up.

I'm not sure if I'm a neat freak or I have OCD, I had to get a wireless mouse and keyboard because I wasn't "comfortable" with having wires.

Put my HD650s back in their box every time I'm done using them, as my only headphone stand has DT880s on it with a headphone cover bag over it.

My condenser mic has a bag over it on it's mic arm.

I went nuts after I dropped something metal on my desk and it made a small dent.

Yep, I'm pretty bad.
