How often do you change your mouse?

I change my mouse when it gets tired, I made the mistake of changing my MX1000 for a Razor Death Adder a while back, what a piece of **** mouse that was. replaced that with my current mouse - MX Revolution.

Anyone got a Razer mouse? Now that they are 100% lazer they might be decent as opposed to the one I had which was a lazer tracking a ball which broke twice and I couldn't be bothered ringin up to exchange the 2nd one after the hastle I got with exchanging the first. Mentioning no names about the supplier!

I only replace mine when the old one breaks - always the same MX518 family - love em, tried others but this was made for my hand!

Well yes, I have used that mouse and it is ambidextrous. I am currently using an MX518 and in everything other than the fact it doesn't fit my hand, it is way better.

TAKE BACK THOSE LIES.

In your face, Inferior mouse user :D

/Rests case, Send him Down me'Lud :D

Just to make this post a non spamming legal piece of text.
In answer to the O.P.
Never as I own an MX518 & once you have one you have it for Life :D + :p

Whereas my piece of microsoft's finest engineering will survive to serve my great grandchildren, at the very least!

pah!

In the last few years I've had an MX518, Intellimouse Explorer v3, MX1000, MX Revolution, and now (as of this week), a Roccat Kone.

The MX518 was by far the best mouse (and I'd still be using it now, had the right click not stopped working), but the Roccat is certainly very, very good.

Might grab a G5 and see how that compares.

As for keyboard, I'm currently on a Razer Tarantula.

if you are right handed i would go for a razer death adder

really cheap on ocuk at the moment

Changed every 2 or 3 months for a couple of years - microsoft optical, intellimouse explorer, saitek gaming mouse, saitek GM 3200, razer copperhead, razer diamondback and finally the deathadder.

Since getting the deathadder i could not imagine a mouse being better.

gt

Ive been using a g5 for over 3 years now, and if it ever packs in ill probably replace it with another one.

I went from using an old microsoft ball mouse to another microsoft wireless lazer one, have changed to G9 now and never looked back :) over the space of like 7 years lol

I had an MX510 which was awesome. When it packed in a couple of years ago i replaced it with a G5 - which is even more awesome. I use it without any of the additional weights in it and it's a perfect weight for me. The snagless cable is pretty good as well.

When/if it breaks i'll just get another one.

Wireless intellimouse explorer 2.0 :) though the death adder is looking very appealing at the moment after playing with in Gamerbase
