How often do you get a Dominos pizza? (Seventeen year old thread bump warning)

£20 for a pizza, nah never, rather get a frozen one from the local supermarket for £3 that tastes just as good if not better as it won't be swimming in grease.
Because good pepperoni is fat free is it?

I mostly make my own, not had Dominos for a long time it's just far too expensive.

I don't have pepperoni on pizza, just keep it simple with cheese, but again it's not something I would have often, maybe once every couple months. Rest of the time it's a seasoned steak with a baked potato or chicken and rice or some variation of those.

Is it your mission to crush Domino’s?

Do you do American style pizza or Neapolitan?

Do you think you’ve taken customers from the competition?

Do you use one of those conveyor style ovens or the more standard takeaway ones?

One of our plans if this is successful will be to open another 10 around the country then possibly open up to Franchise. Its still very early days and lots of kinks to iron out. But our branding is getting there. (before we opened social media thought we were a franchise)

We do New York style, Detroit Style and Chicago style Pizza's

We've only been open a few months. It's a seaside tourist town so things haven't ramped up yet, But over the next few weeks things should start to get busier. We've a few music events planned, and theres a few things happening in the town centre which we are very much situated in the middle of. We've got a decent student following so have taken trade away from Subway, Starbucks and the local cheap bakery.

I'd say the conveyor oven is the more normal takeaway oven of choice nowadays. However we use a Double Deck oven (should have bought a triple). One of the reasons is, as we do several styles of pizza they all need cooking for different lengths and different temperatures.

We are a Pizza by the slice restaurant, Somewhere to grab a quick bite but can also eat in with a full sized pizza. Summer will be banging with plenty of Pizza & Beer events. Olympics, Football, F1 etc...

Hardly ever get Dominos because of the price. The local Turkish kebab house does pizza 95% as tasty as Dominos for about 50% of the price so get a delivery from there quite often.

Prices are stupidly expensive even with offers which have you spending over £20 for the offer to kick in.
The sides you get are pretty poor too,why you want garlic bread as a side if your having pizza
Not ordered a pizza from any of the outlets for many years.Would rather have chinese, indian, kfc or fish and chips.
Still get pizzas from markies and tesco etc but these are only a few quid.

My partner and parents live in a town in North Lincolnshire, there is no good pizza place for eat in or take away. Just the usual dirty take away pizza places. I was going to get an ooni to make proper sour dough pizzas, then I had an idea of jacking the job in in London and buying a food truck making proper sour dough pizzas for the locals there.

I used to have a Domino's code that never expired so would have them at work occasionally. Haven't been in at least 15 years now. Too expensive and would rather make my own.

Had one last at my eldest's in Farringdon Oxfordshire, it saves my daughter time in the kitchen and more time with us just to chill with a rubbish film on Netflix as the visits are short, we eat healthy other times but now and again. iirc my son in law had a 50% code, cant remember the taste as smoothened it in chilli sauce

Never had one, the last pizzas I bought was for my staff. came from Pizza King, didn't have any staff for nearly a week after that all went down with food poisoning.

Wow heck of a thread revive! I have only had dominos a couple of times in my life, and happy never to have one again!

Only pizzas I buy are from our local van that does wood fired sourdough pizzas. Otherwise I make them myself, I have plenty of dough that I make and put in the freezer. It's fun as the kids get involved too - and there's something fun about putting the wood fire on in the garden even when it's cold.

Last time I had one was probably before this thread was made, doubt I'll ever have one again. Domino's was drunk food and I don't drink any more :p

Some of the guys are making a decent living out of food trucks. Minimal overheads. Our Double deck oven costs about £100 a day in electricity to just have on....
