had a Moto G9 Play since October '21 - just needed a new/reliable phone when I started a new job...best thing is the battery life! was only £100 new

OnePlus 6T from Oct 2018, has been perfect up until the last couple of days when the WiFi/4G radios started turning themselves off randomly. Looks like time for an upgrade. :(

My Samsung A72 is 26 months old & as much as I'd like to replace it with something shinier like a Pixel 7 Pro, it still does everything I need it to, the battery life is pretty good & the camera is fine for a few snaps here & there.

OnePlus 7T Pro, just over 3 years old. It's been a great phone but the latest update to Android 12 spoiled a lot of things on it for me by removing or breaking features and changing the way the phone behaves, so I'll be looking at a new one soon, probably a Nothing (2).

Well major surgery performed on my P20 Lite.

New battery, charging port and rear cover.

Part success, battery and charging port fine, the charging port in particular was important as the old one was pretty knackered and it works much better now.

Rear cover unfortunately not great, this phone has a glass rear cover, the phone is basically bowed or banana shaped a bit from age, so trying to put a thin, flat, glass cover onto something that isn't completely flat doesn't go. Managed to crack it and it's not stuck on particularly well, had to resort to superglue around the edges.

So basically functionality wise, vastly improved, but it still looks tatty, oh well.

I think I got my note 9 about 4 years ago.
No reason to replace it, and I think it will be hard to get a like for like replacement as Samsung cancelled the note line. (I like the pen!)

1 - 2 years, Poco F3.

Next time I get a new phone, one thing is for sure, I'm going to get a better case for it.

Although I applied a basic front cover protector, dropping the phone, of course, doesn't stop it from cracking.
So, one of those beefy cases is in order for a future purchase, or maybe a higher-end phone will have more resistance anyway.

Under one year - approx 6 months, Pixel 7 Pro bought on release. I tend to keep my phone's at least 2-3 years. Had a pixel 4 XL before that which I was still happy with other than it reached the end of software updates.

got mine last year. will probably last about 2 years before I break it by dropping it on concrete or I throw it at someone.

On a random note, my aunt has an old nokia from like 1995 and it still in good working order. yeah, no fancy apps and you can only text and call, but its like alive and kicking and the battery lasts ages. Go figure
