How to delete a game from your Steam account

I'd like to remove FF13 from my list to be honest. It was dire and a poor excuse for a FF game. I do not know why it managed to get sequels.

Hide works fine for me.

Agree on RO2 as well, hated that game.

I'm going to share a story, of which normally would go unknown. I highlighted "RO2" so I could check scores from it. I accidentally, instead of google searching, clicked PRINT. The dialogue box appeared which I should have clicked "cancel" but I miss-clicked and clicked print.

It actually printed. I'm an FPS player, these things shouldn't happen.

Pretty sure I have two copies of Batman: Arkham City sat on my account, one of which was the pre-GOTY version that is now no longer supported or has anything working with it, so that'll be going.

Got rid of DOTA 2. Might get rid of some games with achievements that I'll never play so my average goes up :D

Unless your games is just a list of the hentai stories I see no point in removing games from the owned list.

i recently went though the struggle of chatting back and forth over email to some girl from steam deleting each game i didn't want. i didn't have many, maybe 30 total, and now only have 6. why woujldn't you delete old crappy games? what for instance would i need cod mw2 for? there's plenty games i'd never play again so i'm glad this is finally possible. i'd prefer though, an option to archive games you own. then i'd never have to delete if i just never have to see them listed.

Why don't you just change your library view to installed, favourites or recent? That way you don't see the full list of games.

What happens in 6 years when you decide you have a hankering to play Mw2? You feel like a **** for deleting it.

You really think that's likely? I'm deleting games I got with bundles that are either not what I thought or are bilge. It's unlikely I'll delete a game I paid good money for. It's still great to have the option.

I can't see how anyone could be down on more account freedom.

Excellent and about time! While i do use the hide games (134 at current count) feature much prefer a proper delete option as well.

If people used their Steam account across multiple devices they'd understand why showing installed games only isn't a practical solution. Much prefer to get rid.

Cheers for this, just got rid of the god awful Wolfenstein New Order. :D

Are you having a giraffe? Wolfenstein New Order is one of the best games of the last few years!

It had me hooked all the way through, the engine may not have been the best but the game was fantastic.

I usually just show the installed games, but even then, my OCD kicks in and i want a polished library that has been whittled down to my requirements!
