How to over volt a Titan, a 780Ti or a 780 guide

I don't know mate, I seem to have it working.

EDIT: You're right mate, it shows the increase in afterburner but it actually doesn't change the voltage; I couldn't get a decent overclock on the core at all, it was instantly crashing.
Oh well :(

Oh well :(

I spent hours messing about with afterburner, doing the soft mod/llc mod etc etc and wondering why i couldnt get any extra core speed with the slider maxed.

The only way i got any actual voltage control was with precision x and the skynet bios , Gpu-z gives me the correct voltage. I went from around the 1230mhz area with afterbuner to benching at 1328/2050.

I am confused, as users are reporting it works with the 780Ti but as I don't have one I can't confirm.

It doesnt work, what you find is lots of people that say it does work and that Ab and Gpu-z just dont report the voltage correctly which isn't correct, they report the voltage just fine its just the voltage slider does nothing, with precision x and skynets bios you can overvolt to 1.212.

Ahhh that sucks then. I will have to add something to the OP when I have finished work.

Yep that's what I've been using since I got the card. I can get 1260mhz at 1.21v but only if I max the fan :p
I keep it at 1150mv and 1200mhz for gaming though :)

Quick piece of advice guys. I am about to place my 780 classi in my main pc (the 3930k machine in the sig) paired with an MSI 780 OC. Finally found a hydrocopper block in the MM for it.

When overvolting the 780 classi, the Afterburner hack doesn't work and one needs to use the classi voltage mod. If I use classi voltage mod and also the AB/Zawarudo's tool for the MSI 780 OC in the same rig, will I encounter issues? Ideally I'd place 2 identical cards in the rig but I don't have a second classi

I wonder if anyone knows this. The max voltage I can achieve with the 780 Classified controller (software tool) is 1.35V. I know with EVbots etc one can go higher but I don't have an EVbot.

Currently I'm maxing out my 780 classi at 1380 MHz core at 1.35V but temps remain at 40C or just above. I'd like to push more as I know it can take it but can't go beyond 1.35V.

Zawarudo's MSI AB trick doesn't work on the 780 classi.

Any thoughts?

I think that is your lot Alex without getting a EVbot :(

I was under the same impression around until around 2 mins ago and I got a reply off criminal at overclockers.net.

Apparently there is a new version of the classi overvolt tool (in the 780 ti section) which is version 2.0.4.2.

This apparently allows 780 and 780 Ti classifieds to reach up to 1.5V. Will test later:D
