How to over volt a Titan, a 780Ti or a 780 guide

Just tried the new nvflash.exe file up a few posts and after I've used the elevated command window and did what was said before, it says new gpu bios but the window didn't close itself like I read it on the first post. Do I just close the window, restart and reinstall my drivers? It literally took 4 seconds.

When you are flashing, it gives a bleep and then you watch as the little blocks at the bottom add to each other. I think it took about 4 or 5 seconds for me and then it says "Flash successful" or something similar.

Add the lines to MSI AB and then you should be good for upto 1.3V. If you don't add the correct lines (or any lines), when you overclock, it will probably just crash, well it did for me.

You can use AB Beta 18 for this as well and when done correctly, you will need to reboot your computer.

Thing is the elevated command window didn't look like it does on the first post and I didn't see any block or anything.
Do I create a new folder and move the .rom and nvflash files in there and then do the elevated command on that folder?

edit: by the looks of it, what I've done hasn't changed anything. i've still got the same boosting bios

Yer, I always have them in the root of my drive and then open the CMD as admin and type D: to get to the root and then do the flash from there.

So I type CMD in search (right click it and run as administrator)
D: (that is where I have the files nvflash/BIOS)
type nvflash [bios name].rom

I've tried it again. I'll see if it has worked. Should the bios name be different in gpuz if it did work?

Edit: and should my base clock show as the same as boost clock?

Skynet runs like crap for me, worst than stock.

I had same with some 733t modded bios on my 680, ended up with KBT and editing my own setting with some help from the maker on the forums.

I need try same with this but there is a lot more setting to change.

Also I flash in Dos same as Mobo Bios for safety.

AB/Precision seem to mess with voltages (AB confirmed in that Skynet forum thread the other day).

1.215v drops to 1.15v and then 1.0v for me with these tweaks.

I can get it more stable without anything and stock, sits at 1.2v and 1300/8GHZ, it does artefact at times in Heaven when voltage goes to 1.0v lucky it does not crash.

I am sure the Apps will evolve and I will get sorted sometime.

i didn't have time to override anything as the window just closed straight away. it's only on my third attempt with that method that I managed to catch a glimpse of the error message. it just blinked on screen for less than a second.
thanks a lot Gregster.
at the minute I've got 1238Mhz on core and 3402 on memory with temps of 65 degrees max on 1.2v

Hi, I have an inno3d ichill hercules x3 ultra that i may want to flash with the skyn3t bios, I saw the rev4 bios has my card listed but i cannot download it as i do not have permissions or something.

In your 780 bios greg i cannot see the inno3d bios, so how do i get the skyn3t bios for the inno3d?

Thanks

Finally tried this on my EVGA SC while it did do what it said on the tin I don't think I really gained anything other than boost being disabled. I could raise the voltage to 1.21v but that didn't really stabilise the GPU at more than about 15-20mhz more (1210mhz core).

Not really worth it.

Flashed back to stock bios

Ive got a classified which is giving me a constant Driver crashes in Elder Scrolls online.

I found manually setting the voltage to 1.2 with the classifued tool stops the crashes. Im not sure exactly what bios is on the card at the moment (was told Evga XTI) but im looking for one which will bump the voltage to 1.2v automatically. Can anyone point me in the right direction? :)

Does it happen with any other game?

Does it happen with any other game?

I was only playing ESO because it was a weekend only beta.

I will run it through its paces on some other games this week.

I did run Skyrim and Crysis 3 and seemed ok, but Im only talking a few minutes. Though ESO would crash either immediately or after a few mnutes.

I did think that, and asked in the ESO thread but it no one else seems to have it. Also if it was the game you would think bumping the voltage woudlnt fix it.
