How to over volt a Titan, a 780Ti or a 780 guide

Hello guys!

I followed the guides here and on OCN. But it doesn't seem that I can get this card above anything higher than 1176 MHz on the core, no matter the BIOS whether it is stock or skyn3t still can't get the thing above 1176 MHz, this card just loves to crash tried 1187V and 1212V. Considering it already boosts to 1137 MHz out of the box the overclock is less than impressive. This is a 780 Ti SC.

Is there is still anything left to do to push it more, or I just got a garbage.

Sounds like you have a lesser than golden chip. 1187Mhz is very low to what a lot of guys are getting sorry to say bud :(

Yup. I thought so :p . Guess what, I will keep it at stock then, what is the point of OCing the thing for less than a 4% increase ... Too bad Nvidia made it even worse by making those cards to not go above 1212V unless you buy a Classy ...

Cheers mate ...

No problems. If it is any consolation, I have Titans that boost from stock very well but overclock them with normal volts and I am lucky to get another 30Mhz stable with them :(

You should be able to mod your own if you learn to use Kepler Bios Tweaker, key thing to stop downclocking is to set all three states to "Entry #0". Set the top 3 voltages to 1.212V-1.212V to unlock voltage. To adjust boost clockspeed move the boost table slider.

OCN has bios's for all the 780s and I believe I have one on my files that are linked in the op.

Edit:

It's stated in my OP that I have the BIOS for the Gigabyte cards.

(780) EVGA ACX - All reference cards - Gigabyte WFx3 - Gigabyte Ghz Ed - Twin Frozr 4 - EVGA SC Reference - Palit Jetstream - Palit Hall of Fame - Asus DCII

I found the bios here skyn3t thank you! but you techinferno bios as they are? I read on the net that are the best is not it?

I am a massive fan of Skyn3t and have had no issues with any of his BIOS's (the same for many users here). You go with what you like though Max :)

If you wish to use Skyn3t's BIOS, check post #1 and there is a link there.
