Ok, done some quick tests with Virtu MVP and there are massive differences.
I did these at Stock clocks with Heaven set to default apart from AA on x4 and tessellation on normal @ 1920 x 1080 with vsync on.
With Virtu MVP:
Run1: FPS = 39.5, Score = 996
Run2: FPS = 39.4, Score = 994
Without Virtu MVP:
Run1: FPS = 31.9, Score = 803
Run2: FPS = 31.9, Score = 803
So according to this Virtu MVP adds 8 FPS.
One thing I did notice though that was with Virtu MVP on I had some jitter when running through the benchmark but when I disabled it that jitter was gone.
