It's safe to say it's aimed at people who are beginners, and I guess it's better to concentrate on composition at first even if you're still using the 'auto' setting on the cam.Just watched it on Five Demand now and felt a little disappointed.
The first episode definitely was concentrating on composition, i was expecting it to take a more technical approach talking about limitations of compact cameras with ISO noise etc..
Will wait and see how things progress.

It's all too easy to get caught up setting ISO and worrying about aperture but if your composition is poor then the pic will be boring even if it's technically sound. However, I'm also hoping that it's going to go into a little more depth in the next episodes.
Looking at the website it just looks like they are going to focus on certain areas each week, landscapes/street/action etc etc.
I think the level of detail may be sub par for most users on here as I suppose being on mainstream TV its aimed at people with little to no idea about what "makes" a photo, a program aimed at knowledgeable amateurs shal we say that started to go into the realms of ISO, Apeture etc etc wouldn't appeal to half as many people.
I think I will keep watching though.
I think you're right. I watched it and was surprised at how little was in this programme, considering the self inflating title given to it. I think misleading doesn't even come close to describing the 'show'. It should really have been entitled "so you've been given a camera and don't know how to use it"
