Very odd, no racial element is mentioned, bar they mention the men being asian. Was it an asian they attcked or a black or a white?
Hiw would we know?
Did they shout racial slurs during the beating?
Were you part of the gang?

Until I know a little more about the assailants motivation I don't think it's racist attack. They just seem to be your usual run of the mill dirtbags with the same pack mentality that animals exhibit. (Although that may be unfair to animals.)

It could well be but you need to know more details... perhaps what was said by the attackers etc...

Certainly a gang of attackers of one race jumping on an unknown person of another race like that for no other apparent reason does make it quite possible that there was a racial motive.
