How'd you meet your current GF?

I went to the isle of man TT races already spoken to vickie as she sorted my camping out over the phone got to know here while i was there.. i was with a bunch of lads and her in the campsite and i thought she fanceid my m8 then all of a suddon she started kissing me

been happily married for 14 months now

Suprised by the number of people who met through myspace, etc. Looks like it can actually work out online! Suppose you get to know the person rather than judging them by their looks only like in a club. Then again you wouldnt open the profile up in the first place if you didnt like the picture. Dont know really!

Online, saw her on asianbrides4u.com. They were doing an awesome half price deal as she was last yrs model but my god what a model she was:p

Seriously though met her through a muslim website that i used to be a member of, talked to her a few times on there then on msn...where she admitted that she found me really interesting and gave me her number. Little did i know 2 yrs ago that it would end up with me flying back and forth to NYC every few weeks. Now looking to get married soon and have kids once shes done with her studying...another yr till she graduates.

Sat beside her on a full bus from Dublin to Galway. Didn't say anything for a while but our elbows (in tshirts) were touching

I call her my girlfriend now even though that happened over 2 years ago.. I'm sure she still remembers me.

Well actually no. A phone went off and I thought it was hers. She was wearing headphones so I tapped her and told her her phone was going off. Turned out to be the guy behind us but before she could get her headphones back in I asked here where she was going.

Turns out she lived in Galway too, close to my house.
She had just got back from Amsterdam that afternoon (I'd just come back days earlier).
And she went to the same school as I did but neither of us really remember the other as she was in the year ahead of me.
And we'd both worked in Dunnes stores (different ones though).

And many many more coincidences.. it was very weird. But I got her number off her a split second before I got off. I didn't notice my stop coming up so I had to ask her really quick and she put it into my phone. I got off the bus and realised I'd deleted a number off the end of it by mistake.

I texted the ten possible numbers and got three replies from people saying they weren't her. Eventually she replied... took us 6 weeks to meet up for a date as I was in dublin and she was in limerick but we finally did and she ended up staying the night at my house (no we didn't do that..) and the rest as everyone on here says.. is history.

there she was.. on the end of my right arm....
19 years and couting, still go where ever i do :)
Sure enough we did have hard times, but now theyre just good memories :p

One of my school friends met her boyfriend on faceparty, and they've been together for 4 years now. They spoke for ages first though, and met up as friends a few times before they got together.

My Girlfriend of the time dumped me in a big showy way in a club infront of all our mutual friends for maximum humiliation. I was gutted. They all left, I walked to the other end of the club for a drink. Got chatting to a couple of girls one of which I considered out of my league. So I wasnt even trying. We had a dance, got on well. She gave me her surname and I didnt have a pen and paper.

When I got in in a drunken mess I circled the page in the telephone directory. Phoned her up, the rest is history. Been together for 14 years now and married for about 4. And they say rebound never works :D

My ex never let it go though, phoned me up many times in the first year to tell me how I couldnt have cared to get with someone so soon blah blah. Even 10 years after we met at a pub and she was bleating on about it.

I'm always thankfull to my ex for helping find me someone who turned my life around in many good ways.

That is such a lovely story!

I was her boss.
I liked her kookyness?!
She was always kinda crazy when I saw her out.
still is
I'm now married to her and we have a 1 year old daughter.(6 years together)
She is highly strung but i don't want a doormat ;)

I used to be with her best mate.

The first couple of months were a bit stormy but 2 and a half years later we are still together. :)
