How's this for beginners bike + accessories ?

What do you think to these?

I use them with my road bike, cant really walk around far in them, might be more suited for a road bike tbh, i can walk around in them, around a shop, through the house up and down stairs, around the factory and yard at work etc.

Theyre really nice and a beautiful fit, i got a size bigger though, im size 10 normally but got a size 11 in these.

The price on Rutland Cycling is £39.99 but i got mine for £30 delivered from the auction site so might be worth checking those out? Theyre reviewed really well too, Giro Treble II are out now too.

No problem, I thought thats what you might have been doing.

Check Aldi and Lidl, they do really good offers on shoes that look just like those, guys at work have picked up soime pairs recently and like them a lot so.. Worth a gander if you have one local.

Well all things going well, I shall be picking up the Triban this weekend from Edinburgh (my closest Decathlon store). Been e-mail the store for the past few weeks trying to arrange for my full order to be put aside. Still not of great confidence this has been done, but I suppose I won't know til I travel up!

Do you think I could fit the bike into the back of my Ford Focus with the back seats down?

When I go on my hangover rides to pick the car up on a weekend I get my bike into the back of a new shape fiesta without taking my wheel off, you'll get it in a focus no problem :)

Same here, '61 plate Fiesty (Zetec S! ;) ) & I can even get my Defy in there with the front wheel attached (and the passenger seat right forwards!). Only done that once when it was pouring down...

Majority of the time front wheel out, quick releases are there for a reason! Occasionally I'll need to move the passenger seat a few notches forwards but that's only because my missus likes to sit really far back!

My previous cars ('53 plate Focus & Audi A3) there was no seat moving needed, just drop the rears.
