looks nice... but i've already got two 12" laptops, the most recent of which cost me a packet, so i'll be giving this a miss.

looks like a good price for a nice little laptop.
 
You probably won't know yet but does this have the HP branding and awesome swirly back (with white as a +£20 option) or the worse Compaq finish?

Actually, that's a Compaq logo... so maybe that would be available as an option?
 
I'm guessing this will be stuck with XP to keep the costs down (a bit)

Didn't think the ION books would hit this price so early, thought they would carry a premium.
 
Just found out these models have the 1gb ram soldered onto the motherboard. There is no free dim slot :(

Think I will wait for windows 7 to be released as there is supposed to be a refresh with more ram then
