HP Reverb G2 uk release date?

I agree actually. I have to qualify it of course as not actually having my G2 on hand yet, but just from all the reviews I think the Quest 2 is actually arguably likely to be the better overall experience for many. Obviously the G2 wins in visual fidelity, great built in audio solution and should also be more comfortable for most (even after strap mods for quest), and yes will likely be less demanding to run on your PC... but there is more to the overall experience than that. The Oculus software stack is far, far superior to WMR at the moment and quality of life things such as tap for full passthrough, controllerless hand tracking, insane controller battery life, better tracking volume and handling of tracking loss/resumption etc etc... plus it can play standalone and wireless VR through WiFi which really can't be overstated until you've tried it... one of the things I'm dreading about my G2 is the return to a tether. Even for those of us that play seated games the most, that wire is still a faff compared to going wire free, less of a problem than in standing games sure but good lord I can't wait until we can get a wireless link with no noticeable compromise on latency/compression.
Yet some youtubers claim that with all it's imperfections, G2 is the daily driver for them. So it depend on ones priorities. Visuals and sound and long-term wear comfort are a big deal for me.
I guess we shall all have a chance to decide for ourselves, and that is awesome! :)

Next concern is "which courier" :D I cannot remember if they specified at purchase.
I just hope it isn't Yodel. Then again, DPD isn't always that much better.

I think DPD is mainly my area that is bad. The drivers seem to cover a lot of ground and don't always manage their workload!
Yodel on the over hand, have thieving drivers and lying managers!

I have trouble with them all, amazon recently delivered something of mine to god knows where still ain't had the refund lol,
My address is a little odd where the front door is on a different road, but they all seem incapable of using a little brain power to figure it out,
Some just give up rather than making a quick call,
All this despite my delivery instructions lol
Just when you get a driver who knows where it is they seem to change him, I've had quite a few different dpd driver last few months

I think it just all depends on who you get. DPD have now delivered two boxes recently that have clearly been opened to see what's inside, whereas Yodel seem to have a kick-about before delivering anything.

i used to have a problem with yodel however a number of years ago one of my neighbours became a part time delivery person for them. he doesnt leave stuff if no one is in, which on one hand could be a pita but on the other hand means no packages left in stranges places. he puts his phone number on a card to phone up for redelivery.

generally i just walk around his house and pick up. it is quite amusing, his entire hallway looks like it is xmas but with the most unimaginative wrapping paper in the world, with boxes piles everywhere.

since then i have had no issues with yodel at all (and never had a problem with DPD i love that they give you gps of the delivery person)

UPS delivers my packages to a cornershop about a kilometre away. No card, no nothing. I have to chase the buyers, and they tells me where it's been delivered. It makes no logical sense! God - I hope they don't use UPS!

I had ups delivery the other day, but i requested it be delivered to a corner shop near by lol, saved the hassle of him trying to find me,
Guessing still no dispatch emails for you early birds.

Nope - but I just hassled my contact and he said that it's still on track for getting them out 'this evening'. I also just mailed him back to ask which courier they are using.

I tell you what, as i am working until thursday, and i am a nice guy, tell him if they get behind schedule i will wait another day for mine, but as an apology for the delay they can stick in a steam code for half life alyx
I think that seems fair. :D

I just received an email saying:

Your SystemActive order is now complete Invoice Date : 30 November, 2020 Order Date : 12 July, 2020

Anyone also received one? It says its shipping method is flat rate.

Just got that email too - it's a bit odd, as it has the wrong invoice amount - I got in at the £525 Incl. delivery - but this states £649+£12 shipping. Not that it makes a difference so long as it arrives!

Still no ParcelForce tracking number though..
