Plenty of users have it and, the reviews are 180 degrees from each other, literally. Some say the sweet spot is super small, the others say it's the biggest ever. Some say tracking is utterly useless, some say if 90% fine with few hiccups here and there that aren't deal breaking.
I don't think you'll be able to conclude much from end users reviews. You've got to try it for yourself. ;) If you have the GPU to run it, that is. :(

Always been the way with headsets... everyone is different and has different face shape, eye position, head shape, vision, quirks, expectations, play environments etc. Truly the only way to really know for sure is to try yourself... it’s just not as simple as looking at a TV review unfortunately.

No email here but my order is also showing as complete on the SystemActive site, so here’s hoping. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow!

Don't think that's a bad idea - as has been said, it is subjective, but I think you can get an overall idea if it sucks or rocks from normal users that haven't been handed a headset for free in order to do a review. It would be worth noting that some youtubers will have completely different expectations and comparisons than a typical user - so I think your point is valid, see what 'normal' users say about it.

I have my fingers crossed that I can start to get an impression of it tomorrow. Still no tracking number and nothing to go on other than an email saying my order is complete. Call me old fashioned, but it 'aint complete till I have it in my grubby little hands. ;)
 
If everything works out as planned, I will be getting my G2 and my slightly overpriced 3080 on the 10-th. Seriously. What a coincidence. I feel like aliens from planet Nibiru must have intervened. :D Well, good aliens, please intervene more. :D I am still trying to catch that sweet sweet 3080FE drop or a reference 6800xt, but I am just not fast enough. They are so much cheaper than AIBs, its crazy! :eek:
I am also looking forward to your G2 impressions. I have this nagging feeling that HP may have a bit higher than industry standard proportion of defective units. I hope to be proven wrong.

No email for me. I ordered early doors. Not sure of exact date but it was the same day the UK pricing was fixed.
I tried to log into system active but by the time the code eventually came through to verify my log in, the code had expired. Everything so far has been a shambles so I would not like to bet money whi h way this will go. Probably with a parcel force drop off at the door in 3 days time with no one in and it pi...g it down with rain on it all day.

Well one thing that doesn’t bode well is that coincidentally I actually have another parcel that dispatched today via parcelforce for delivery tomorrow - I received a text from parcelforce about that one, but nothing about the G2... I’m going to assume it won’t turn up, we shall see.
 
I woke up this morning to an order complete email. No tracking info but will just cross fingers. If it doesn't arrive today that is ok but I hope it arrives tomorrow. I am off work Thursday but more importantly I am going for a walk in the morning so won't be in to take delivery.

I am WFH so as long as I am working Incan take delivery as long as they ring the doorbell. Sometimes they don't and I miss a delivery even if I am in.
 
No tracking information here either, I would have thought if they missed their shipping target we would have had an email letting us know they're delayed.

Fingers crossed we all get them today
