HP Reverb G2 uk release date?

I'm not really getting on with VR. Makes me queasy. I think I'm going to return the G2 and just get a Quest 2 for my sons.

Tried only Superhot so far. Seems to run at 90fps with my 2070S. I booted up Automobilista but never setup my wheel to try it out. Just sat in the cockpit and looked around. Didn't seem to matter what I did settings wise in game or with steam supersampling, it was always 60fps ish. Turning on projection didnt change anything.

Will box it up tomorrow after I call SA.
 
Do yourself a favour and try assetto corsa or something first.

While AMS2 is lauded over for it's performance and looks, it's still highly demanding. Assetto being an older game and engine, that 2070 should get better performance.
 
HP Store has taken an allocation which was meant for us. This has been an oversight and mistake from HP, and the function has been removed.

So considering I ordered late October, they may have literally sold MY unit to somebody?!? Wow, this is gross.:mad:
Edit: today my 3080 order got pushed back to 19-th of December instead of the 10-th. What a day! :(

That is a grim day,
Tbh regarding the g2 its exactly what i thought might have happened, and is part of the reason i jumped ship,
I felt my g2 pre order was going to possibly end up in someone else's hands,
But although i have a tracking number from parcel force the item is not yet with them according to the last tracking update i got,
So maybe in my panic i might miss out all together, as it may get cancelled with HP Tomorrow (which would be the fair thing to do if they aint left the factory yet at Hp), and i cancelled the SA order once i was told it was shipped,
if that happens then sod it, will just forget about vr for a while lol
 
With this newest screw up, I think September pre orders are most definitely next week. Guess maybe even that is optimistic.
Hopefully the July pre orders were the majority so August and September can be done in one big batch.

Sounds to me like hp took the next batch,
How many that was remains unknown,
Maybe all the way up to October, or maybe just Augusts,
Dont know mate exactly

Edit, btw hp sent out a email yesterday saying it was In stock, get yours early, seems like it was planned to me not a oversight
