Incase anyone is in the same boat I still have an order open with Comet with a predicted arrival date of 5th September. I spoke to someone on the phone earlier and asked what the likelihood of anything actually being delivered was. They seemed very sure that they have stock arriving from their warehouse this week to fill orders they've accepted like mine.

That shipping release shown earlier did show that Comet were due to get 300 in..........

Had a 16Gb at tesco direct at payment stage but was never able to complete the process and can no-longer be added to basket :(

I would be suprised if they sold out in the ~5min it took me to get to payment

in that case, can you ask them whats going on first ?
you are going to cancel it so have nothing to loose ;)
pretty please :)

Sure i will ask them first and report back. but if they are still going to deliver it and not going to cancel it, i will just sell it and make £130 profit :D

Great, just checked my online tracking for my delivery of a Touchpad from PC World via Yodel and it says "Delivered" with the signatory being "porte".

Eh?! I've never heard of a "porte" and i haven't received anything through my door saying that it has been left with a neighbour or anything.

Who wants to bet that those bloody cretins have lost/stolen the Parcel. I just called their customer services and they said that it has been passed to a manager and they will interview the driver to find out where the parcel was delivered.

Is there any courier company out there who actually hire drivers who have a brain? Or are they all bloody monkeys? I can't think of a reason why the driver has gone to the wrong house, let some random person accept the parcel with the name "porte" (when there is a totally different name on the bloody parcel) and thought nothing of it.

ARGH!

Tonights chart shows the last 750 ebay.co.uk orders for the 16GB HP Touchpad with worldwide shipping (more than half the orders), excluding shipping (sorry can't do that, so figure that in). Spurious data points are orders that didn't complete, and some data points may be for incorrectly listed items.

This covers the time period from 16/08/2011 20:31 till 31/08/2011 15:08.

Think it's time to throw in the towel

Sirs.. I am defeated! :(

The problem is unless you have no life, you are almost certain to never get one for the RRP, on hotdeals many of them have Chrome running with auto refresh on 5 secs on all the sites, with an alarm the sec the page changes..

so realistically unless you sit there watching it all day, are registered with every site with card details allready saved on site, you are not going to get one..

They are gone in seconds

Terribly sorry chaps but I think the above chart may be misleading. This chart is easier to understand.
