Do you have a link to them on the PCW site?

My problem is, I really have no need for a touchstone or an expensive case and they don't go for that much on ebay. Would work out at about £200 for the 32gb.

Wow, they have over 6,000 employees in the UK alone?

You forget that HP own a number of other large companies (including the previously known EDS) and these all add to their staff count.

Employees who have already purchased a Touchpad via EPP are not eligible for this promotion. (Registrations will be audited)

This is a great idea. A colleague of mine has a family member that works for HP, and on the last sale they bought SIX just so they could sell them on at a profit. Greed knows no boundary..

Its still worth 200 in my opinion, blows all other tablets at that price out of the water. And lol at all the DSG sites going down.. AGAIN. Its embarrassing to say the least. John lewis stayed up but they cant hah.

Surprising, no, but I do find it funny. Apparently their system is down as well if you ring, I can see all those hopefuls pulling their hair out as the stock drains away.

Dixons and pcw have them (Hope its ok to mention :) )
You have to buy as a bundle.

TouchPad Tablet PC - 16GB TouchPad Tablet PC - 16GB £134.33 1 £134.33
TouchPad Touchstone Wireless Charging Dock TouchPad Touchstone Wireless Charging Dock £39.76 1 £39.76
TouchPad Case TouchPad Case £24.91 1 £24.91
Subtotal £199.00

Think you can get 5% off tablets and 2% from total if you order from quidco.

Just pulled the trigger on Touchpad, Case and dock as I would prob be buying them anyway.

Not a bad buy really. With the £10 off code, you are paying say £35 for the charger and £20 for the case so £135 for the touchpad.

That's as good as it will get for ages, perhaps ever.

They are still selling for £200 for the touchpad alone on ebay.

EDIT: tablet5 gets you £10 off at pcworld.

Price £50 item at £300+
Very few sales are made
Announce huge restructure of business
Cut price of current stock to £89
Sell out
Create massive demand
Release more stock priced at £200
???
Profit

Not really, these are selling for £135 for the touchpad, not £200 but I see your point.

Tbh, they would have sold them for £200 just for the touchpad anyway as people would rather buy from a shop than ebay.
