bull, I just called. The agent explained that the beginning orders were not cancelled... apparently. In his words an "agent" is having to go through each order separately and we just have to keep an eye on our emails. He did confirm the vodafone credit checking system was down yesterday and apparently, whilst I choose to be skeptical on this point, they have delivery of their final stock arriving today. So as long as we pass credit check we may have delivery tomorrow. Who knows what to believe now though. He did mention over 500 order were made in the first two hours.
 
I got the same out of stock message. Anybody phoned the sales line for more info?
Might give it a try but stuck at work at the moment :(

I am not going to hold my breath on this one. If soon means today then great I'm just pleased I have an order. I am rather impressed with mobiles.co.uk as they could have easily passed on my order to someone who passed their credit check much quicker than I did, instead it seems they reserved that stock for me even if I hadn't passed my check.
 
So I just called again as I didn't realise both items had to be shipped together. I get a different story every time, now the story has changed to "we don't know when we will get stock as we have to source it from somewhere, and there is a possibility it may even be a few weeks". She did let me know that I could cancel at any time if I was not satisfied with the current status of the order :/

This is going south by the minute :(

As already pointed out the more time that goes by the less the Pre 3's are getting on ebay and i intend to sell my Pre 3 as soon as i get it, if we are talking weeks now i may just cancel the order.
 
Different story every time bulb, you have the same exact plan that I do. My flat mates arrived today, lucky guy. Ill give it a few days as I don't expect the value to drop that significantly. If I have heard nothing by say... next Wednesday Ill be cancelling my order. Id even be happy with £200 off eBay if I am completely honest.

Carrot, has your order status JUST changed or does the date for dispatch mark yesterday? If not, how peculiar.

Yep, but still around £300. If I get over £200 I'm happy :)

I'd also be interested in that. I converted a 720p mkv file using the iPad profile, but when playing using the built in player, it wasn't completely smooth.
It had borders too top and bottom, but the only way to remove them I guess is to crop the original content.
