Is the £249 deal worth it for the 32gb?

Touchpad 32GB - £184.16
Touchstone - £39.90
Case - £24.94

How much did you guys pay for the accessories at sale prices?

Touchstone was £35 in the catalogue store, case was cheapest at £17.50 in CPW.

On ebay cases seem to be £35-40 inc delivery

Just had another couple of emails advising me that my order is now being prepared for delivery, which sounds quite encouraging!

EDIT: To be honest, I feel much happier buying one from a "High Street Store" than from an anonymous seller on eBay... at least I am covered by DSR etc should a better offer come up in the next week! ;)

It's a premium of £38 overall I think. But I would quite happily pay £200 for the Tablet so I'm ok with it.

A couple days ago I paid the eBay market price of £200. Had/having some difficulties (can't load preware and overclock, stream iPlayer, etc), but still think it was worth the price. I sold my Kindle 3 to subsidise the cost, which I wasn't sure was a good idea, but just viewed a pdf which has just sold it for me.

Hmm... I still kinda fancy a TouchPad, but I think it'd have to be closer to the firesale pricepoint! You can get a Galaxy Tab for £30-50 more than that bundle. (OK, add an extra £100 to get a similar sized screen, and a bit more to get a case, but still... Or perhaps I'm just trying to talk myself out of ordering. :p)

That about right but knock another £12 odd by using the discount code tablet5 plus there is 8% quidco cashback as well so you can get the 32gb pad down to about £152 and accessories priced about right. I had to pay £25 for my case and £35 for my touchstone (plus £7 delivery)

Just a head up. Rumour has is cpw will be selling the same package and the touchpads by themselves from Monday so its worth keeping an eye on the,. Plus with all this stock suddenly appearing, people are hopeful that the 11th delivery to Argos will happen and they will have stock as well.

I don't know how you have managed that, unless you ordered well before your 6pm post.

As i ordered before 2pm and still on Order acknowledgement

Greebo who is giving 8% cashback? i can only see 3% + 2% at dixons (PCW and currys show 3%+ 1.5%) ??

quidco tracking shows £5.91 so i only think its 3% (if anybody is interested)

Sorry, I saw it on another forum that quidco on the 32gb tablet was 8%. If that is not the case then I apologise for the miss info.

Even though it means that means the 32gb tablet is only £160 and accesories at a fair knocked down price.

It is a bit unfair of dixons group to increase the price difference between the 16gb and 32gb to £50. The 16gb only worked at £115 with quidco and discount code once you deducted the accessories. Only a £26 premium over firesale whereas the 32gb works out to be £45 over priced.

Dont worry about it, i think other chaps may be getting their maths wrong, its only on the tablet its self and not on the accessories. it is annoying its been marked up a bit - but i would have wanted the accessories anyway. and its only a matter of a few pounds so i wont lose any sleep over it.

look forward to getting one (in time for my birthday!) and messing around with it. :)

well, considering I have bought the 16gb tablet, case and touchstone for £129 I don't think £185 or thereabouts is that bad.

Bargain! I didn;t think you could get that cheap even at the beginning?

Touchstone £35
Case £20 (maybe £17.50)
Touchpad £89

Minimum total £141.50

But yes, and extra £40ish over the BEST firesale prices if you intended to buy the accessories is still a great buy.

Sorry my maths are all over the shop!!!! its £135.

Touchpad - £89
Case - £17.50
Touchstone - £29

But I do agree, it is still a great deal.

Well I won't be able to get one of the 6000 available on Monday because I'm travelling to see a customer - however a colleague doesn't want his backorder so looks like I'm buying it off him at cost fingers crossed!

if it's an EPP back order this new stock isn't going to be used for them afaik, you have to register Mon AM for one of these

Finally getting somewhere with my claim for refund of the price difference from amazon.
Its only taken 6 phone calls to amazon and three email to hp cash back support over 18 days !
