Yes, physical stock too. But apparantly the price on the day is what is paid. So I guess we'll see when (if?) they drop...

I think Argos have some sort of money back guarantee, so you should be fine if you can get one in store. (Haven't got an old receipt handy but it is normally printed on the back of it).

This thread is like a marathon. All the speedy people have finished and now the stragglers are coming in ;)

Well done guys! :)

bested all of yous. Called CPW. They got me a 16 and 32GB. According to tracking will be here tomorow.

then went to a CPW in east london with 2 mates. They only had 2, and both were 32GB. But on the system showed as 16GB. Guy wanted to get out of work (near9pm mind) so he let them have it for 89 quid each. 32GB for 89 quid. Madness.

calling seemed to be the most effective way to get through to cpw.

Still can't believe the ****s at PCW.

Last time I shopped their was went Mass Effect was release & I got 2 for £60. They were complete windows-lickers back then.

Basically I heard them talking about trying to 'save' the Touchpads while queuing, after 20 minutes of trying to actually buy the thing for £115. I told the uppity little **** weasel who should stop being proud of working at PCW.

Reserved it for another day just to annoy them & left :)

Well if the order numbers are indeed rising by 1 with each order, that a hell of a lot of orders to process. Especially with their server crash slowing things down further.

But if they're only showing -40 stock for the 16GB and -20 for the 32GB i doubt that would be the case... even when you factor in the orders that weren't for the TouchPad (lol) :p

Got two from PCWorld, one from currys. 1x32, 2x16. Playing with the 32 now, one 16 will go to my mum and the other to my housemate.

It seems a long LONG way behind Android so far, but it is quite swish. The multitasking is excellent. I just hope someone gets HoneyCombe/IceCream on it eventually :).

Is that a reliable source though? That could be for just one store.

In reality its probably more like -29387762 :p 20 and 40 just seems a bit perfect to me.

Greedy

LOL, I've had three email confirmations through from CPW and been charged for a 16GB and a 32GB... wonder if I'll actually get any/all :D

I only wanted one :D

Seriously? They had 6 at PCWorld, I could have bought them all but I didn't. I'm desperate to upgrade my mum's 6 year old Centrino laptop as all it does it cause me hassle supporting it all the time. My housemate was hunting aswell and would have grabbed an extra for me had I not for him.

I placed my order with Comet, got email confirmation of order at 20:30...

Hopefully it will go through :)

(32GB)
