Again, tried with the Nexus.... it lasted two weeks before snapping at two of the corners where it clips together, when I had to take the back off the phone to swap memory cards.

Not impressed at all to be honest. It seemed OK in pocket use, but after seeing it break just lightly prising it apart with just my soft thumbnails, I wouldn't fancy dropping a phone with one of these encasing it!

Also, as it's hard moulded with a soft skin, I doubt it'll fit the Desire to be honest. Cutouts are in pretty much the right places, but the flexibility of the cases linked and that I commented on is what allows them to fit the Desire, even though they're moulded for the Nexus.

As always, YMMV and all that, but I'd say this particular model would be useless for the Desire. Best to wait until a model-specific version came along than chance it with a Nexus version.

The soft Mofi case is not a bad fit. Just received it today from the bay. Can't complain for £1.50 lol

I'll stick with the neoprone case I think!


Also the dock shown above, that's the same dock as I have with my magic (sprayed white) - will be able to get one cheap methinks and no need to spray this time round!

Does anyone do a leather pouch with metal in-between the inside and outside so that when i walk into the door frame/wall/piano/hand rails that i dont destroy my screen?

Or is that a stupid question O.o?

Got one similar to that...its a moshi pouch though...have had it for a few yrs but cant remember what phone i bought it for lol.

Currently using it with my Desire...the phone just about fits into it but till i get my screen protector and my neoprene case it will have to do.

It has a drawstring at the top but doesnt quite close fully but still protects the screen from any scratches.

There's only one solution - you need to carry your desire in a tank! :p
 
Haha >.< All i want is something like that mofi case with a metal insert :(

Id be okay with that if i put the screen towards my leg i think.. but i always end up putting it with the screen out!
 
If i get insurance im guaranteed to break it several times.. if i dont im bound to be more careful >.> I think!

I tend to drop phones a lot aswell :(

Maybe i should get insurance xD
 
I'm looking at getting the pdair book case(flips open horizontally) from ebay(Item number:360252519863), it's also availale on mobilefun but is more expensive plus currently saying pre-order. the thing I've noticed is that it's shown as having the nexus rather than the desire in it, I know the desire and nexus are virtually identical in terms of size but I'm not sure if it'll have an issue with the sensor by the ear piece being covered and the camera hole being too high/low.
 
Has anyone managed to get a FlexiShield on their Desire yet ??

Kinda thinking of getting one. I am between this style of case and a full flip style leather case but I like not hiding the phone's looks away so not sure.

Be good to get feedback on the flexishield from someone that has one on their Desire. How easy is it to still press the top power button etc etc...

I bought one too, but it was a really tight fit, and some of it was left poking out at the top. Also one of the guys said that the metal badge had cracked his screen, so I sent the case back :(

I'll probably get that cheap neoprene one from eBay for now.

yeah the badge was a worry, i put the phone in it the other way round so it wouldnt crack the screen.

currently using just a nexus gel case and a screen protector. it still fits in the luna case with the gel case fitted. it just sticks out the top a few mil more than before. quite a tight fit though, lol
