Put a NAND Gingerbread build onto my HD2.
MASSIVELY better over the SD ROMS.
If you have not done it already and have no need to boot into WinMo. DO it. The new CWM flashing process is a dream to use also.
Battery life through the roof and much more responsive. No longer have an issue getting to the lock screen from a standby mode any more either. (It sometimes refused to show me the display despite hard-keys illuminating)
Transfer speeds over WiFi are much better also, not sure if it's build related or just because it is a NAND build but it's much welcomed (Same radio)
Yeah done all that - when it finally goes to boot Android it just sits at the HTC boot screen (green on black) and never boots.
Like I say not to worry as I'll likely be going Android very soon![]()
My Defy is now sat in my draw doing nothing.! Only minor issue is not being able to charge it while the phone is turned off but its no big deal really.
My HD2 is on stock (updated) - what are the best
a. Android build avail for the SD card method
b. Android build for flashing
c. Win 6.5 Rom
d. Win7 Rom
I would like to dual boot if possible but as I have only one phone and am away quite a bit it must be reliable (hence why I have always left win 6.5 standard on there with only stock updates)
could people post links as my search facility at work is disabled![]()
The only thing of note to mention is that the kernel causes a 60 mA drain of the battery when Bluetooth is on and idle, other than that its pretty much perfect imo.

I've tried a lot of ROM's and just love the fact that this is simply stock Gingerbread with none of the Sense rubbish or any other bloat.
Did you use a compatible Radio?
Deffo sounds like a Radio problem to me.
