**HTC HD2 Thread**

I will ask, has anyone set up the Vodafone 360 App for the HD2 as of yet?!

I went to the registration page but the HD2 is not listed yet whereas just about every single phone is including the HD, I was tempted to just say HD on the registration page and see if it worked but with the Bebo app not working with the Resolution I dont wanna risk it.
 
Think i've decided to go for a HD2, i couldn't decide between this and a Hero. But i'm going to have a play with one is a shop first, and if i like it, think i'm gonna go for the T-Mobile deal on MPD; 18 months, 700 mins, unlimited txts and net £35 pm. If i end up not liking it i can always sell it and sell my current N95 8gb and get a Hero sim free.
 
I went into the T-Mob shop on Saturday to ask to have a play with this as I wanted to know what the keyboard was going to be like, but they didnt have any in stock! :(

So can anyone say how good the on screen keyboard is? I have been using a diamond with the HTC qwerty and compact qwerty keyboards for some time now, and I am really beginging to miss how easy it used to be to type a message on my Wizard with the slide out keyboard.

I am worried that it still inst brilliant on the HD2, and thus am toying with the idea of going for a Touch Pro 2 (that no networks seem to have)
 
Pap, not exactly the best sort of deal going on there. Will probably be able to get a HD2 for about £50 if I upgrade with T-Mob and for another 18 month contract.

Argh, this is hard work... a proper keyboard with older hardware, or brand spanking new hardware with a soft keyboard.....
 
hmmm: t-mobile just offered me free early upgrade on 24 month contract, 300 mins, unlimited sms, unlimited mobile internet for £18.50/month. Now if they can get stock before vodafone they maybe on!

Ermmm its only available on the Samsung mobiles that they have listed on their 360 page...cant see anywhere where it says they support other phones :/

EDIT: ok seems like if you go to the signup page it then lists what phones are compatible with the 360 service....i wonder if the Storm 2 will support it...it has the Storm on there so seeing as they are basically the same barring a few new things on the S2...im gonna see if it works:p

I can see how people would have problems with it as it is really sensitive but as I said like any touch screen phone, when your used to it, it works fine :D

I've found the battery life to be a complete godsend compared to the Touch Diamond :p I turned on my Touch Diamond yesterday and just laughed at the screen size :D

Can I get an exact date? I ordered on 24 November (order/credit check completed at 16:20) and haven't had any dispatch notice or the like. New customer too.

They'll be getting a phone call tomorrow if you ordered after me :p.

*yawn* I called T-Mobile (again) today - and they're saying it's going through some kinda "software checks" before it's being made available?!

This better not translate to: Yes we're just utterly ruining the software and re-branding it all, before we release it!

Anyway - haven't people already got theirs through T-Mobile already? I'm confused...

But its available on their website!? Sounds like they dont know their arse from their elbow!

It's starting to annoy me now... i've been promised about 4 different callbacks now..... and got zero!

Seems a bit weird... seeing as I was offered one in store...... yet they're now going through software checks?! (unless they're maybe referring to the dodgy camera issue...... but that's nothing that they'll be able to fix...)

I was on the phone to Voda today who still couldn't give me a date for the HD2 either. Ended up getting the N97 mini on a great deal. I'll then sell it on for a Milestone
